Is that a new Andy Timmons signature Ibanez!? It looks sweet!

I will say this the original Halo is the only pedal that I found every preset to be actually useful

Robert, you’re still the compressor guy to me 😊 but you can be the compressor AND Halo guy! 👍

It was the plan all along. Get your cheaply made SMT pedal now. Lets keep those SMT machines running at $12 bucks per unit so we can retire soon.

It sounds amazing, but could we please stop using the word "core"?
@Manley1564 күн бұрын
So its a reduction of the original with less features and cost more money then the full featured pedal. Nope

7:03am California time (9am there) pulled the trigger. STOKED! This was the mod that was a deal breaker. I can’t do it live without a dotted 8th. Thank you guys. Looking forward to getting this in the mail.

Lovely sounds. Lovely guitar too. Please do a MIDI version of the Halo and Hydra. It has too many great sounds not to be readily available. A combined Halo and Hydra (like the UAFX Del-Verb) but with MIDI would be the ideal effects loop pedal. Strymon makes good stuff, but one reason they end up on so many boards is their MIDI support for those of us that don't have time to tweak buttons live.

Is there anything the core can do that the original Halo (the bigger one) cannot? Also, do they have the same sound after all?
@deepsea-nine4 күн бұрын
It's too soon to say for sure, but they mentioned that the Core has more headroom and less distortion. They also mentioned that the Core has an improved "infinity" mode (holding down the tap temp to make the delay oscillate). Truth is, you're probably not missing much if you have a halo and you're happy with the sound. Andy was.

Very glad this is just available now. I know I got lost in the Halo until I got confused by everything in it, so a simple version is fab.

Maybe it’s some sort of simplicity bias but the demos of this one sound better to me than the original Halo

Please make a Dekuxe Halo Version that can compete with the Strymon Timeline but that would off course sound better like the Halo and Halo core sounds. I would love to have a ton of programmable presets that are controllable with midi.
@RobertKeeleyTV4 күн бұрын
We are working on it sir!

@@RobertKeeleyTV Wow! Thanks Robert. I just love my Keeley Halo. It will be nice to buy a RJM loop switcher and be able to program many presets and be able to have multiple patches. Would be nice too add a screen like the timeline to and be able to name our patches.

Good call dude. Been waiting on buying a delay pedal, either a Strymon or Halo.. Andy Wood said Halo also.. Gonna get the Halo
