Thanks yet again Mark. Yes, Glen did a decent cover, unfortunately by the time it got to Dean Martin it was yuk (imo). And yes I did a cover of Steam powered aeroplane. I will post it on Utube on Thursday. It’s one of my favourite John Hartford songs. Dang, you have such great taste in music Mark!

Thanks again Mark. Met John Lennon in January 1965. I had paid the equivalent of 5 dollars to see the Beatles live in my Hometown of Hammersmith London and somehow ended up backstage with John and Paul in their dressing room. It was a couple of days before my 14th birthday. I told them that I played guitar and Paul asked John to pass his guitar to me. I played them Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt’s “Foggy Mountain Breakdown“. I had all their attention and in particular Paul McCartney’s. 5 months later the song “I’ve just seen a face” was released. Only 2 people still alive to tell the story. Paul won’t.
