It reminds me of chess. At first, it seems easy, but later on, what pieces you have left and their position on the board really matter. So, I think it gets entertaining if you plan to play it all the way to the end, because that's when you realize you have to make it to the final level in good shape.

Would be better if the board game itself was bigger. All the information is squeezed into as small a space as possible. It's especially ironic as it's such a 'large' expansive game in concept. Are there particular reasons for certain games being certain sizes?

You have a good point. It really is crammed in there, but I keep this around as a coffee table game. Sometimes I want to relax with some tea with a small box game on my coffee table, sometimes I want to spend the evening setting up and playing a massive game on my kitchen table.

7:11, the left skeleton could have move through his mate as long as he doesn't end up his movement on him. He could reach you with move of 4 and it would be really tough moment.

At 5:02 you cleared a star bullet but instead of increasing your AP by 1 you actually decreased it.

at 13:24 you did 4 damage to the Skelepede with 3 HP. 1 damage would be carried over to the Rot Worm. Together with the 1 damage from the guard and the tower, you would have damaged the Rot Worm for 3 damage. And unfortunately you cannot use the same command twice in one turn 28:36, so you would not have won the game in the end :)

Nice to see this one played, I find the game to be a bit confusing (at first). The last card you drew (16:05) had a noisy quirk which makes 3 total at the bar. Wouldn't that cause War Bear and Rusty Ranger to leave?

The creator of this game has used AI art without saying so. That is bad enough - what makes it way worse is he has asked the AI prompt to copy Jason Glover's work specifically. The form factor only makes it worse... And then there's him using Tin in the name! This is a Tin Helm rip off.... Google Tin Helm and see for yourself. This is an ethical can of worms, but I think we can all agree this has crossed a line.

I was a bit naive about this review copy. I was just happy to cover a tin can game. I didn’t consider it could be AI. The designer never answered my question or others directly, so it’s safe to say it’s AI. Jason Glover is a favorite designer of mine, so I’m bummed to see his style was ripped off instead of being an homage.
