Il pastor fido, El pastor fiel. Hay dudas de que ciertamente sea de Vivaldi la autoria de estas sonatas. No tiene la caracteristica de la musica Vivaldiana, de todos modos muy buenas sonatas y excelente interpretación😂

The flute and the bassoon seem to be angry with each other. They don't tune with each other and I' m not sure if the piano is completely in tuned with itself 🤣 so everyone is in a different planet. Musically... they play it quite boring. To be fair with the musicians let's say that this is not a "master" piece by Donizetti, it's not the best Donizetti 's piece, but it's quite operistic. It's possible to play it more gracefully. It requires from the performers to add their own "grace" to make this piece work, because the piece itself is not an ambitious piece. But it's still Donizetti and it's still good music And it's up to the performers to play more with the phrasing, with the dynamics, and to feel more free to play it more "romantic", allowing themselves to be less strict with the tempo at certain moment, use some floritura in the slow movement...I don't know...this musicians, three of them, should work more on this piece

The problem is the camera angles. Performance is stunning, but why not just leave one camera angle and let us decide what we want to watch? The camera person never guesses correctly, and this is not a news event - it is a performance. The camera is NOT part of the performance, and becomes so in such short order that I can't watch.

Yes they are. The performance would suffer without their emotional expression. And a lot of what the pianist is doing is functional. You shouldn't be bothered. This music is not yours.

@@loganadams2058 You're joking, right? I have witnessed thousands of instrumentalists who play beautifully and don't sway and grimace all over the place. So according to you, I must be hallucinating.

@@organman52 so as a musician, many of us can't help swaying as we are SO into the music. It helps us express, feel, and enjoy the music as you do. idk, try not to be so snobby about how the musicians interpret and express their music. besides, every musician is different

@@Yello96486 "As performers, you have to play with honesty, not to express yourselves but to give expression to the work; not to try to say my Beethoven Sonata, my Chopin Scherzo, but a Scherzo, not even by Chopin, a Scherzo that was given Chopin to write and that no longer needs Chopin to be a masterpiece. It no longer needs a performer, or a listener. It needs nothing. It is just floating in the air, ablaze with light. Then, you look at it or you don't." - Nadia Boulanger

The "old" Reinecke is for sure a quite conservative composer, but isn't this trio outstanding, and its formation unique ??? Was he inspired by Brahms' op. 40, changing violin by oboe? Not so sure.
