Beautiful! Did you do both the same day, and did you stay the night nearby there?
@roberturbanphotography12 күн бұрын
@@sheslostcontrol111 hi, yes we did both on same day, I only recommend it if you got a solid conditions in the mountains. For most people it takes more than 8-10 hours to complete both. You can sleep at nearby huts, reservation of course required.
Excuse me, If I want to climb the Zugspitze by Reintal Route, which month would you recommend? thanks
@roberturbanphotography17 күн бұрын
@@陳昶儒-f3w it depends how much experience you have with snow. If none I Would recommend July till September, but check snow conditions

Underrated channel, bravo! I’m also living in the Netherlands, how do you guys train for technical mountains elevation?
@roberturbanphotographyАй бұрын
Thank you for your kind comment. It is of course not easy, around 4min we talk about it a bit. But usually during weekends try to plan trail running in Germany or Belgium, and often (once a month at least) we drive to alps for a weekend to run or hike. Week days elevation can be done on treadmill or stair master.

I ran with you during the highest climb of the race, remembered you guys telling me about your dog, and once I saw him in the video it clicked on me. Loved the surprise in the end, congrats and all the best!

I enjoyed your video. I am curious about your shoe choice, did the North Face Summit Vectiv Pro remain comfortable the entire run? I loved that shoe in my last 50k but never thought to use it for such a longer slower paced event but maybe! Also, why did they start the race at night? Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
@roberturbanphotography4 ай бұрын
Hey we love the summit pro 2, we also used for longer race like a 24 hours in the mountains. I think it is one of the softest shoe on trails. Tho next time for a backyard I think I would alternate between different shoes and socks. I developed little stress fracture that time under my feet, of course this doesn’t have to relate to the shoe but I feel switching up some shoes might be a good idea.

please don't encourage others to camp there too. It is forbidden and nature suffers as a result. There is rubbish from campers everywhere and there are plenty of other places where you can camp, just not here!
@roberturbanphotography5 ай бұрын
@@SwissRiven hi, I agree with your points, that some people leave rubbish in nature and that is unacceptable. That why I mentioned below that it have to be done on discrete level, respecting the nature and leave no trace behind. But I also believe people have the right to roam and enjoy nature as longs as they respect it. People should spend more time outdoors in nature and that is the reason I promote such a trips.
@SwissRiven5 ай бұрын
@@roberturbanphotography yes i agree with enjoying nature. But u could just go for a hike? There is no need to stay up there. Zero. If one does it.. what happens? Right others do it. Its no camping place right? People bring fireworks, make campfires, leave rubbish because yes you guessed it right no waste bin.. even if there was one I dont blame the one person going there. I blame the media who shows this to 1000x people who then come here and do the same, cause he did it too.. and one more will not harm.. You get the point right?
@SwissRiven5 ай бұрын
@@roberturbanphotography and ppl destroy no matter what. I love to hike there. I live very close. I see the place getting trashed week for week! One camper, staying there once will never get back there. Just think of one ant finding food, running back to the hive, telling all the others, they come and do the job. He alone didnt harm anyone.. but many, over time do.
@SwissRiven5 ай бұрын
@@roberturbanphotography and you think now.. well just 1000 ppl saw your video right? There are several other videos doing the same with much more or less views. Its just overboarding. Each one making a video showing others encouraging them to go there and "enjoy nature" but basicly destroying the place for others yet come. Just for them to see the huge piles of trash, left by each one of them campers who juust enjoyied nature.
