I learned something. And no, it actually wasn't obvious so thanks for spelling that out. Super clever technique.

100 points for the paper clip as magnetic stirrer xD I've never heard of that technique (freeze, pump, thaw. Not the paper clip xD), very interesting!

If I have solid sample containing components, can I use any solvent to dissolve it? Or I have to use only the same mobile phase as solvent to dissolved sample? Another case, if must use same mobile phase, but my sample can not dissolve, here, please I need solution to this problem. can I use any solvent? thank you alot in advance

I usually just use the smallest amount pure ethyl acetate to dissolve it all if the mobile phase won’t do it

thank you Is there standard to use silica gel in column, I mean if my sample a little bit like (0.01 gram), how much of silica gel use here? in contrast, if I have a lot of samples such as (1 gram or more), here, how much of silica gel have to use? I mean is there ratio from silica gel to sample to use in column, please tell me

thank you, If I used wet packing of silica gel to column (slurry), here, can I use any solvent for silica gel until reached slurried, or must to use only the same mobile phase or must use only hexane.

Nice photocatalysis setup! Do you have the specs on the fan you are using? Also, did you have to make a custom power supply? Im having trouble keeping my photo-reactions around room temp and would like to set up something like this. Thanks!

Thank you for your great explaination. I just wondering, after degassing, how do you move your degassed solvent to flask which you will use for reaction?

In my experience. Typically the flask that you do the FPT (freeze pump thaw) in is the same flask you use for your reaction. This is a good reason to have some schlenk flasks in your lab!
