I was hoping you were going to show the real easy secret for how to change the oil filter. JCB told be to remove the fuel tank bolts and slide it out of the way, which gives really good access to the filter. It does but, putting the bolts back in is a struggle. Poor design from JCB.

Hi, Thank you very much for the good informations! I have an other question, what type of perkin engine is yours? I think i have the same one, but i can not find any type-shield/ type-describtion on the motor. Is it an 403d-11? I want to change the filters but ther are different typs of perkin engines... Could you please help me?

Orginal Oilfiltter is tight put place. I use Donaldson P550335 oil filter, its much easy putting place

Am I being really dim, but why would you need a spirit level to get the stuff out. Surely you’d want as much out as is possible. Would’ve thought it would make sense to lean the machine over towards the drain plug. On the filling process, wouldn’t the requirement be to have the digger level across the width, rather than the length. Thanks for the vid though. 👍

Hi the filter you’re looking at is the diesel fuel filter part no JCB Fuel Filter 32922300 hope this helps

@@bsfreelancer1 that’s the hard bit I just went onto main dealer sites and put in the serial numbers off the machine and worked through it I could find a specific part number catalog
