I literally cant buy this in europe. The strugle starts from Zojirushi who makes only JP and usa, no europe voltages and plug, then the USA website doesnt ship to EU...

You need to lower the heat before you add the eggs. Or just take the pan off the gas before adding the eggs then fold the eggs into the centre and let the liquid fill those spaces. This will help. Also look at videos by Kenji

I have the exact same model Zojirushi rice cooker. I clean the bowl and the removable lid every couple of uses. I did not know how to remove the plastic compartment on top, though, and I knew it must have some starch in it from rice. Plan to clean it soon. Thanks for the helpful video. 👍

when u cook on it, especially butter like u did on the video or with sauces, do u re-wash it and re-season it? or what exactly?
@AnAggressiveBean8 күн бұрын
Seasoning a steel pan is done by repeatedly burning high smoke point oil on its surface to create a non-stick polimer surface similar to that of Teflon, without its micro plastic and carcinogenic dangers
@ohimdabiggestbird8 күн бұрын
@@AnAggressiveBean so you re-wash it and re-season it?
@AnAggressiveBean8 күн бұрын

@@AnAggressiveBean i dont understand, like if i cook eggs, and butter is covering the pan, do i just rense it off? i doubt that's gonna do much, so i rewash it correct? like with dish soap and all, and if i do that, i need to re-season every time i do it right?
@AnAggressiveBean8 күн бұрын
@@ohimdabiggestbird I was trying to give you an approximate idea, but I suppose that won't work. Simple terms- unless you scratch it up a lot and it no longer works as nonstick, it doesn't need to be reseasoned. Washing it is like washing a Teflon pan- the thin layer of burnt on oil is entirely solid and will not simply degrade overtime, the pan only needs to be reseasoned once you *feel* that it isn't as efficient at preventing the food from sticking to it. Any further questions?

You never let the butter get too hot. It start looking brown and tasting burnt. That’s not the way you melt butter properly in a pan.

I love my Darto pans, I have almost every piece of theirs (27, 25, 20, 15cm saute and 27/20 paellas). I enjoy the videos from Cook Culture about care and seasoning of carbon steel. Made seasoning paste per their instructions using Grapeseed oil/Sunflower oil/Beeswax in a 1.5:1.5:1 ratio respectively, keeps them nonstick, beautiful and perfect. Cheers!
