Nah, OSU fan here: we don't give much credit to Michigan's Natty last year, or their 3 previous wins, due to cheating. They don't have any reason to claim either a moral victory from this year's win or a share as co-Big Ten members in back-to-back years. As far as Oregon fans' whining, losing to a team you already beat in the same season does happen. It's happened before, it'll happen again. You're probably right about Oregon winning in last year's system, but hell, you could say the same for the old BCS system. The argument falls apart. Times change, as do rules, and you play the system in front of you. Ohio State also beat you 10 years ago, when you had the odds, seeding on your side, and the Heisman trophy winner. Enjoy your Big Ten Championship.

Man, I really believe that Scoot will figure it out. And I really don’t want to have it be on some other team. His floor is still in the basement, true, but I really believe that his ceiling is very high. I was definitely disappointed by how October went for him - I’d thought that he would have a great summer and bounce back in year 2, but it looks like it’s just taking longer than everybody thought for him to adjust and get out of his own head. The kid put WAY too much pressure on himself to be The Guy from day one.

best bad ball hitter to play the game. Suzuki brought a Sand Wedge to the dish. Add in incredible defense & a cannon from the outfield. SPECIAL

Losing to the team who goes on to win it all always softens the loss a bit. They went on a legit run and beat 2 other really good teams about eh same as they beat Oregon. Ducks will be back and ready to compete for a Natty again next year, we aren't going anywhere!
@Alex-zi1oq18 сағат бұрын
It really doesn’t matter where any of these teams landed. As soon as Ohio State lost to Michigan, it was over. They blitzed the left side of the bracket, and they would have blitzed the right side of it also. And as far as 4v12 team, you have to be a MUCH better football team, to go through 4, instead of 2. Oregon had no chance.

From a suns fan. I feel your pain. That’s what it is! Real pain watching this guy play! It hurts to see him freeze and blame someone else. Best thing you can do is have him come off the bench. Sorry guys. Go suns!

Football fans are going to have to start looking at the regular season like NCAA basketball does. Conference championships, rival wins, they don't mean squat if you can't produce in the tournament. Credit to Oregon and all the other best teams in the country for an amazing playoff this year. Go Bucks!
@bobsylvester8819 сағат бұрын
I would think most Oregon fans feel OK about it - in a roundabout way. You guys beat Ohio State in the same year. And you lost in the playoffs to the eventual national Champion. Oregon has a convoluted claim to the second best team as much as Notre Dame. You just met Ohio State earlier in the playoffs.

Coping? Oregon alum here, 95'. All the Oregon fans I know are giving OSU their props and hoping we can rebuild after losing like 6 key starters to the NFL. If Dante Moore can lead the team we should do ok, but OSU looks scary good. Lanning has done a great job recruiting and in the portal, but it may take a couple years to see all those results. I do think losing in the reg season is a benefit for the long haul. OSU was a new team after losing at home to Michigan.

LOOSING ALWAYS PRODUCES LOSERS. 8 AND 5 DOESN’T MAKE YOU A CHAMPION. THAT ONLY MEANS YOU’VE WON MORE THAN YOU LOST. AND BEATING OHIO STATE ISN’T ANY MORE THAN BEATING ALABAMA. CAUSE NEITHER WIN GOT YOU A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. OR EVEN PLAYING FOR ONE. LOSERS! NOT EVEN GOT YOU IN THE TOP 25 FINAL RANKINGS. THE ONLY PART YOU HAVE MICHIGAN IN OHIO STATES NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IS THE SAME AS EVERY OTHER TEAM THAT ISN’T THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. ONLY ONE OHIO STATE BECAUSE THEY EARNED IT. NOBODY ELSE CAN SAY THAT AND THEY PROVED IT MORE THAN MICHIGAN DID LAST YEAR BECAUSE THEY HAD TO BEAT MORE THAN TWO TEAMS TO GET THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Idk what Danny is talking about when he says the franchise picked a direction. They traded Dame only once Dame pretty much begged and pleaded to leave, and they’ve done nothing to further the rebuild since then, even trading a FRP for Avdija in the offseason. What rebuilding team keeps guys like Grant and Ayton around? What rebuilding team doesn’t trade Timelord? Or resigns Thybulle to an extension? This franchise hasn’t picked a path, they’ve done everything possible to AVOID an all-out tank.

@@lopoa126 Teams WANTED to trade for Grant, Cronin tried to play hardball and demanded 2 FRP's when teams only wanted to give up one. Cronin simply can't read the market. It's why he never traded Ant, it's why he didn't trade Grant, and it's why he can't trade Ayton.

Ayton is soft, he gets discouraged and disengaged so easily. This coming from a Suns fan who had to see this for a longer period of time, it's sad and wasted potential. Ayton doesn't care though, he's all about the money. He'll play great next year though since its a contract year just like he did in Phoenix.
@alberth1150Күн бұрын
Suns fans have been watching a super talented team for two years underperforming. Only difference is we continue blaming everything else. Wasting talent Players want to get paid! That’s the whole reason for wanting to play. We literally want Butler who’s upset over money.
