Countries being run by women are going down the toilet. They are making decision based on their feelings. Only the women who think with their head and not their hormones will do well. Marine Le Pen, Georgia Meloni etc.

Is the Chana data from China? Because they reclassified what poverty is multiple times which was making people in poverty labeled as out of poverty. But not by standards in other countries.
@DataLake_1986Ай бұрын
You're correct that different countries have varying poverty standards, and China has indeed redefined its poverty threshold over time. This can lead to discrepancies in how poverty is measured and understood compared to other nations. It's important to consider these differences when discussing global poverty.
@nikolaivista920Ай бұрын
There is ONLY ONE true method to measure poverty: RELATIVE POVERTY INDEX!! And most economists, politicians and corporate overlord masters never want to show the RELATIVE POVERTY INDEX!!!

One thing to note here. This is not a percentage or percentile. It's raw number of people. India is a mega huge country holding 2.0 Billion people. Even a 10% of people there is more than the entire population of some small countries in the list
@chosk80Ай бұрын
India doesn't have 2 Billion people. They only recently overtaken China in population. Not sure where you pull that 2 billion population number out of ?

Good evening, has your research team utilised the 'currency purchasing power' parameter, across the globe? I mean that what $2.15 can buy in India, differs significantly of what the same amount of money can purchase in the U.S.A.!!

Thanks for pointing that out. This data is just considering $2.15 as the global poverty line. I agree that it could be converted to purchasing power. I'll check to see if there's any source for that. Thanks!

I've been to Singapore many times. Most Singaporeans do not drive a car, they use public transport. How is it they were using double the next most oil greedy country, for so many years? Where was it all being used?
@DataLake_1986Ай бұрын
Thanks for your question @CraftVision. The oil consumption in Singapore can primarily be attributed to its critical role as an international center for oil refining, trading, and bunkering services. This significantly contributes to the nation's oil consumption figures, rather than personal vehicle usage.
