Didn’t see not even one Indian in there, this an internet conversation, and never saw a black person telling me anything about native Americans. When in the internet you never get answers, all lies, therefor you can never find anyone in person talking about such lie, Not sure who you told you Native Americans and subsaharan west Africans look alike

In silence I listen to Andrew. I wasn't going to comment because I like to process my emotions when I need to know what stirs me. As I look out of the window of the vehicle I'm sitting in letting my emotions flow a wind stirs above the roof of the vehicle and several white blossoms from a trivet plant blow into the window. This never happened before while I've sat here. Now I look down inside the floor of the vehicle at the blossoms and think of Andrew. I'm leaving the blossoms there. ❤ Thank You for moving my emotions Andrew.

Dawes Rolls. But you shouldn't do it if it's for a tribe that isn't your culture. Maybe you should spend time with that tribe before coming forward with information. Otherwise why are you doing it? 🤔

Vietnam videos are basically BS. These veterans (minus draftees) willingly chose to go to an unwinnable, illegal war. If they say otherwise, they are promoting a falsehood. A lot of these people push the image that they could or did win the war, but the "politicians" and the "people back home" lost it. Vietnam was a national American disgrace, tragedy and defeat...and they share in the responsibility of it. The politicians and American people saw that the war was not being won or was unwinnable. The US never really had the "hearts and minds" of the South Vietnamese people...who they supposedly were fighting for. They don't talk much about the war crimes they committed against the Vietnamese....OR even against their own personnel. Lastly, whether these guys won or lost...the Vietnam war had absolutely NO effect on American freedom, security, safety or way of life. They did NOT sacrifice anything for my...or your freedom. These veterans present themselves as victims and wrongly treated. They are big boys and went to a country to kill or be killed. They shared in the failure. Now they want to be recognized for their "sacrifice" through videos, Honor Flights, endless trips to the Wall in DC or to Vietnam itself. They never grew up and really moved on. They have made themselves an embarrassment to themselves and my generation. Ripley like all the other Vietnam veteran weren't heroes they were survivors. They were chumps and pawns of the military industrial complex. Vietnam did absolutely nothing for American safety, security and freedom. All it did was claim 60000 American lives and waste the country in treasure and talent. Not to mention it almost tore America apart. These veterans including Ripley were invaders and aggressors in someone else's country that did nothing to Americans or the USA. When it comes to Vietnam...they can get to the back of the line when the term "hero" is used. There are tons of people in society that are true heroes that no one will want a video. And... they had no legitimate right or reason to be in Vietnam in the first place. It didn't matter if they manned a BB gun or a tank. That's their "story". Now....on to the next veteran's video who didn't belong in Vietnam either. Let's analyze this. U.S. troops were potentially sacrificing their one and only lives on in Vietnam. Vietnam is around 7500 miles from the US across the entire Pacific Ocean. Vietnam did nothing to Americans or the US. The US did not declare war against a country it beat the sh*t out of for 10 years. They were nothing less than an invader and aggressor in someone else's country he had NO business being in. It was an Asian civil war to be dealt with by Asians. Win or lose.... Vietnam never posed a threat to American safety, security or freedom. Whatever you have to say doesn't remove the fact that most Vietnam veterans were foolishly ignorant with their lives and accepted a fight that had nothing to do with them. The Draft was no excuse for anyone going to Vietnam. I'm sure people want to call him a "hero" and thank him for his service. Maybe Vietnam veterans were cowardly by not standing up to his dysfunctional Government and its policy by resisting going to Vietnam.

My dad was in The Black nights 70-71-72 I believe his name was Terry Johnson I believe he was pictured at some point in this video he was a Forward observer. He was awarded the silver star for catching movement in the bushes and spraying it with an m 60 and killing multiple enemies preventing an ambush. He was also blown off 3 tracks, 2 of those he was awarded purple hearts for. He sadly passed in 2018. If anyone knows him or any stories I would love to hear it.

Scouts out! Welcome home my Black Knight brothers in arms! I'm still kicking -- sorta'. Has anyone seen Jesse (Jesus) Escalero? I can still see his big smile, hear his infectious laugh and remember his positive attitude; such a moral booster. Last I heard he was in Texas. I remember so many of y'all; some by name, and others by face only. I am John Wood, AKA 'Woodstock' B Troop, 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry, May 70 thru May 71, Like a lot of us, my tour ended right after we got back to Dong Ha after Operation Lam Son 719 in Khe Sanh. Then the Army sent me to 3rd Armored Division in Germany, 3rd Squadron, 12th Cavalry after a 30 day leave back in The World when I left Nam. I am the Restless Orphant of the Bastard Cavalry. We out in the bush somewhere on the DMZ ans 2 or 3 choppers landed with Vic Morrow (from the 1960's WW-2 TV series 'Combat') and some USO girls. They walked around looking so fine while Vic Morrow shook everyone's hand. Wow -- what a memory! Then he was killed when in a chopper crash making the movie 'Twilight Zone' in a Vietnam War scene. So strange, I met him in Nam. I was often put on a chopper to our rear at Dong Ha so I could bring back a deuce and a half with ammo and other supplies. Henry Royce, back at the motor pool would often ride shotgun for me as we we brought that lone re supply truck back, then he would drive it back to Dong Ha. JESUS CHRIST, the shit hit the fan on those solo trips back to B Troop, fire-bases Charlie 2, Alpha 4 on the DMZ, Khe Sanh and many points in between! Royce and I were heading back to Dong Ha after taking hot chow to Alpha 4 (Con Thien), it was almost dark, and as usual, we were the only truck while traveling alone when they shot out a tire on our truck in Cam Lo. Once we got the tire off the dinks started walking the mortar rounds down the road at us. You never saw two skinny 18 year olds move so fast getting that tire back on! As we sped off with a fresh tire, the last mortar round hit exactly where the truck was when we were changing the tire. Those solo resupply runs were scary -- incoming sniper fire, RPGs and mortars were near misses. Thank god I never hit a mine on those resupply runs, or while riding the M-60 machine gun on my B Troop M-113 ACAV. Henry Royce went to Fiddlers Green within the last year. For me, I have risen to the 190 percent level of service connected thanks to agent orange and other stuff. At 190 %, I cant get another penny till I get to the point that my wife has to care for me. I am still running up and down the highway in my Ram Promaster van. When it is hot, humid, raining, and a chopper passes overhead, I feel like I am back in country all over again, and my big boxy van is a track. Surely all Nam vets get that feeling on those days too. Woodstock out...
