Vito being a sympathetic figure in the Mafiaverse is hilarious to me. He’s lucky he’s even alive, he should’ve died for the things he caused in Empire Bay. He sold drugs against the wishes of The Commission, nearly started a war between the Mafia and the Triads, and brought a rat into the fold. He held deep seeded resentment towards Leo Galante when he’s the ONLY reason Vito still draws breath. He did so many fucked up things and didn’t want to be held accountable or take responsibility for any of it. Mafia II is the best game in the series, and by extension that makes Vito the consensus best protagonist, but give me a break lol. Still love Vito though.
