i dont get any extra distance from squeezing the disc so hard it actually needs to rip from my hand thus making that noise.. also my finger tips hurt throwing that way.. i grip the disc much less hard and i still get 600ft with accuracy so why grip it so hard then?

Harder grip -> more force to exit the grip -> greater spin rate as it rotates around the front finger pinch -> more spin/smoother flight shape in addition to distance
