I had a S-10 2.2 standard trans five speed short bed the same year and I don't know how this driver ever got it to get that good of traction. Mine got the worse traction of any truck or vehicle i have ever owned. It literally in less than a inch of snow going down hill with the clutch in like being in neutral. I couldn't keep the rear-end from wanting to try and come around without touching the brake. The thing was hard to take off in the rain with without sitting and spinning and going nowhere. I am no complete amateur either. I have skills. I have raced against and with some very fast cars and won with standard transmissions without breaking traction and spinning. It had soft rubber all season radio tires with good tread also.
