How much did you get for it? There are SO many wrong parts on this car. I own a silver anniversary bought back in 78 as second owner. Your carpet is the wrong color. Original is a silver gray, not tan. They did NOT come with an L-48 hood emblem but did come with an L-82 if factory equipped. YIKES! Manual crank windows that made the door pockets inaccessible?? Center console with no power window or electric door lock switched near the lower edge near the emergency/parking brake? No tilt/telescoping steering column? Obviously now crank up windows and manual door locks. And there is a tray that goes in the jack storage box that hides the jack and allows storage of other items in there. Also, the fully retractable power antenna on the left rear quarter is now a hard mount with the antenna removed. These are just the inaccuracies I noticed in the video. You didn't open the hood to show what's changed under there. I hope you got a good price, but many details from the original factory equipment is not accurate.

Wrong steering wheel

Thanks for looking. Actually it is not the wrong wheel. Corvette that did not have the tilt wheel got this wheel, the "Vega" wheel as it is called. This wheel was also used on a few other GM models as well. Thanks again.

Yo en mi vida de joven!!! Y con la suerte de haber tenido un padre que también era fanático de los buenos carros!! Logre tener, cuando vivía en Venezuela, en la época de ORO un Camaro SS ,de 1973 en el año de 1983 y en el año 1985 tuve otra belleza que me dejó enamorado para siempre!!! La Blazer K5 Cheyenne de 1977 creo que de las Camionetas 4x4 es la mejor!! Y en 1993 mi padre se compró un Bronco XLT 150 que creo que es otra increíble máquina de todo el mundo!!! Ahora vivo en España y aquí estos indios no saben que son estas naves.😂😂😂😂😂 ya no discuto con esta gente de automóviles porque no vale la pena! Mi primer camioneta que me compró mi padre cuando yo tenia 19 años fue una pequeña C10 PICK UP porque como no quise estudiar!!! Me la regalo de agencia 0 kilómetros para que buscara trabajo😂😂😂y lo que hacía! Era pasear con mis chicas… a mis 63 años mi ultimo sueño es tener de nuevo una Blazer K5 de 1982 y el Corvette que tienes tu!! Exactamente en ese color! Pero la tapicería en rojo y de 1982 también!! Estoy esperando a ganarme la lotería porque no puedo trabajar ya que tengo 2 infartos y me an pensionado☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ pero algún día antes de irme al otro lado tengo que tener mis 2 sueños😂😂😂 te deseo muchísima salud!!! A ti y a tu familia para que sigas gozando esa hermosa nave espacial!! Porque la verdad que Chevrolet se adelantó demasiado en el tiempo con este gran carro soy Venezolano de nacimiento y Español desde 2003 cuando hui de ese pobre país comunista que se fue a la (M) con ese gobierno👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻saludos desde España🇺🇸

I bet you get a lot of looks and compliments. My Blackwood hit 135,000 miles two days ago. The last time I saw another Blackwood was 7 years ago outside of Dallas, Texas. I’m now in Jacksonville, Florida.

As an past owner of the C1 C2 and C3 nothing compares with the 62 C1 as a real hot rod and C2 was the best looking of the bunch and the C3 was the last good one

Im always puzzled by people placing cars on this auction site. Takes balls sending to Barrett Jackson, Mecum and ither national sites. Just put a price.. if competitive? It'll sell unless over priced.

On My 65 vette( all original) you need to pad the pedal a good many times (10 to 20) before the gas reaches the carburetor and she starts. He had started it already so the gas didn’t go back to the tank yet.

Correct, as I said I had pulled it out of the garage prior to this but long enough for the engine to cool down. As you know the longer they sit the fuel evaporates from the bowl causing the necessary pumping. Thanks for watching. Larry

Great car, and I totally get the C2 crowd. However, I’ll still take a ‘70 C3 LT-1 - no bus steering wheel, wider wheels, and those unbeatable fender arches are way cooler than the C2 for me. And as Chef Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov said “the C2 has just enough lift at speed to be a bad airplane.”

Ha, ha, great comment my friend, thanks for watching! If you listened closely on I believe my drive video I compared this car to a '71 LT-1 I owned way back , in regards to how it wound out and had so much raw power. I think the older you are the more you appreciate the Mid Year cars. I indeed have experienced the front end lift of a Mid Year. I really like all Corvettes for what they are and what they meant in their own era. Yes, even a Blue Flame '53. Take care. Larry
