Mavs made a mistake letting the guy go to Orlando. Like Sham, the players loved that guy. And he's doing a great job turning that team around. I hate it when coaches get fired and people whine. They have no clue about behind the scenes. The GM etc watch them every day and know whats what. That's why you need a good GM(or Owner like we didn't have for a decade). When Shoes watched Brunson every day. Some how he didn't see a guy that was gonna keep growing and team player with work ethic and a great head on his shoulders and was way and far above the 12.5 he and his daddy was asking for. Then when Luka went out and he took over. he played himself out of that and they had the nerve to come back and over what they rejected. Grimes isn't Brunson. But now due to injuries, he's playing a lot and raising his value more and more. They need to offer that extension now before losing him for nothing.
