He was even better than what he showed on the racecourse. Only ever did what he needed to do.

Frankel fanboys always forget, very conveniently, that the whole ranking system was changed to give Frankel that 147. And they retrospectively changed the rankings to downgrade absolute great horses to make Frankel highest in the rankings. For that to happen, they foolishly decided to give more points to shorter distance races. Just as an example, not wholly accurate but true in essence, a horse who wins by 10 lengths in a mile and a half, gets less points than a horse who wins by say 8 lengths in a mile race. Which is completely ridiculous when you see that it was changed to make one horse highest in rankings and who couldn't compete at middle distance. Sad really!!

the best finish I've ever seen, for the first time I saw how a horse decided on his own and the competition is fate, you can see that the horse understands and expresses his will to win. Bravo

One of the great Arc winners. I would rate him in the top 4. Only Sea Bird, Ribot and Dancing Brave were better in my humble opinion.

Wow,makes me laugh when these Americans go on about the likes of Secretariat that ran on flat dirt & lost a quarter of his races….just look at this

Sea The Stars won in one year what no other horse ever did. 2,000 G., The Derby, The Arc. Now if you great judges can't see he was a great race horse, nothing will.

Unusually big field , binding ground, rough riding neighbours all around him for most of the race , no clear path til the final stretch when everyone fell away. The most mentally and physically tough Grade 1 race I've seen , he prevailed in the most proffessional manner, pulling away. Best horse I've ever seen - I fell in love with him when I saw him finish 4th in his first two year old race - Mick Kinane minded him and thought enough of him to educate him. Even at 2 his neck was well set on and he was very aware and cool in the parade ring, smart self awsre and self confident - beautifully trained by gentleman John Ox.

Good horse but the commentator is boring. I can’t believe you people think this guy is good. He would put people over here to sleep. No excitement at all. Tom Durkin makes this guy look amateur. Very reserved. Would never make it over here

Great ride from Mick Kinnan not to panic and go early when those two horses went so far in front. I know Frankel is often considered the greatest because of his 14 from 14, but Sea the Stars’ star quality over different distances at G1 level puts him right up alongside him for me.
