I have a 2005 Etec 225 HO , absolutely love everything about it, If I was a rich man I would buy this technology and make these engines again, tweak whatever little flaws they may have ( if any ) !

Such a good design looks wise great fuel economy etc. What evinrude is doing is just as bad as what seven marine has done luckily engine wise it's a cadillac so I can get some parts but these are not out there and its bs. A 100 year old company just dips. I'm sorry but I agreed with them. Make better more fuel efficient motors.

If you love 2 strokes and you hate this engine , wonder why 2 strokes went down . Same with motor cross , now there screaming 2 strokes again . What happens when the sheep dictate the market and companies don’t adjust . Great engine . Boaters will always love the power to weight and snap of a 2 stroke . Period .

Great choice, your skiff seems to get up on plane nice. How did you manage to get electric tilt with the tiller for the Yamaha? In the US it seems to only be available with remote option…
