Paul said what we all were told ..we didn't want to be painted with the same brush , crazy times looking back , lots of our friends stayed and fought the fight .they're the real hero's. No medals no pension, they did it for Ireland and Ireland only !!!they are all at the bar counters in derry now ...not a bob in there pocket full of ptsd all for the lies ... hay gerry tell the truth

When I first heard this song in 1992 (on MTV) I had a broken heart. I learned something from this song. It taught me to accept things the way they were. "Amor fati", as Friedrich Nietzsche would have said - "love of one's fate".

I can still remember watching this video frequently on MTV in 1992 when I was young. 😀 I loved it back then, still love it now, and always will. I was thankful to MTV for playing beautiful stuff you didn't get to hear on the radio, like this track, or Betsy Cook's "Love Is The Groove" (1991). 👍

Great sound , somewhat different to the Jools Holland lineup , the addition of horns is good but in truth the JH version is superior.
