Super nice. As a leader, I finally found a simple yet graceful way to exit from the continuous tucks pattern at 0:55 . thanx so much. The floor looks slippery for the guy's shoes though.

Find a college that offers the classes or any studio that offers group classes, to start. It's scary getting started, but once you start learning it is so much fun!

I love this! I've watched it 1000 times - using it as a teaching tool for myself. Amazing to me that the man is deaf! I'm so impressed. Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you so much timrapp65 for your compliment. The dance was a challenge for both of us as Andy had just received his Cochlear Implants and was struggling to hear the music correctly and was also battling with Vertigo. We didn't get to practice as much as we would have liked, but am always grateful for the support of our friends.

I appreciate your comments and can see how not knowing the demonstrators or the purpose of the demo can lead to having a less than positive view on what we do. What you don't know is how much concentration is actually going into this demo for both Lead and Follow... The lead is almost 99% deaf in this video, he struggles to hear the beat (if he even hears the rest of the music at all) and his partner is relatively knew to dance and trying to pay attention to his leads to try to make the moves as fun looking as possible. The demo came towards the end of a 2 hour long class, in which both demonstrators had been teaching the entire time. The demonstration is not to get more students, however, to show the current students moves from a basic level through intermediate in order for them to see what they learned in class as well as the potential of what they can learn in the future. The video is not an advertisement and we are not competing professionals. We just like to teach and have fun with our students. It might be worthwhile to take a look at other videos that show our progress as a dance couple. The lead is quite an incredible guy and deserves quite a bit of applause for his efforts and abilities despite the challenges. Thanks!

You guys gotta learn to smile!! Decent dancing, OK music but you both smiled about twice for about two seconds. This is not good for your business or swing dancing. Nuke this video and shoot it again when you're in a smiley mood. If dancing isn't fun get another job that is--seriously!
