Well would you rather it have a price tag and not be pay to win or be free and pay to win, that’s really the question here. But the real answer is that if it did have a price tag, it would still be pay to win.

Not agreed with you, the game is best. And ya.. the controls are harder, i can understand that. But if you will give time to it. You'll get it. I am playing it for 2 to 3 years and i am a pro now. Let me give you an advise. When you play the game just focus on the track, while driving or it has touchdrive too for the new comers.

Honestly, I play the game free to play and its not that bad. You get free cars from career mode and most events allow you to free try cars. It great for a mobile game

Let me get this straight. Yes its mostly pay to win. Even from Micro-transactions and Cars. Gas mechanic or Car usage limit is really frustrating thing. The controls are very hard to control and understand the mechanics. The card packs is made of shit. But the thing is from the other side of the coin is, you have to play well. The longer you play, the more cars you will collect (with the help of patience). The longer you play, the less fun to play with (thats the point of the Car Usage Limit mechanic). Physics of the car is goofy, but its more a skilled based game with precision. I as the player who didn’t pay real money for cars, I was having fun. Unlike you, you are disgusting.

Skill issue. It's not even rhat P2W, they are offering free epic cars every month, you just need to play better. Controls aren't that hard (except for iOS, the gyros aren't suitable for newbies cause of 3D Touch, I'm talking about the 6s plus models)

The thing with this game is that while yes it is definitely p2w I would say the satisfaction you get from seeing your self getting better at your skills far outways and jumps other the pay walls. Just play it with norm :)

As a PS5 player who got into Warhammer when Space Marine 2 came out, I can say it's 100% worth it! The game is such an insane blast to play, and you get so much content for base game price! So far, it's only getting funner and more interesting as I play, I've mained and fully leveled Zealot, and have started a build in each class. So far, it's worth every penny and more, a straight up blast!

after seeing that SSKTL will be shut down, this will be my new main game. Looks good enough and a nice replacement

Not a PS5 player, but I am one of the newbies who just picked this up a couple days ago when it was on sale. So far I've been having a blast playing Veteran. The shout is so good for survivability since it instantly recovers all your toughness and the Krak Grenades are huge for chunking bosses. Managed to get to a point where I'm very consistently clearing Malice and semi-consistently clearing Heresy difficulty. There's a lot of depth with the weapons from the perks, to alternate attacks and the different Marks you can switch between when you have your mastery at a certain point. It's a lot to take in but I'm having fun figuring it out. Good luck on the grind to all my fellow rejects of the disposal unit. The Emperor Protects.

I uninstalled Apex and Space Marine 2 to revisit this game and it was a good choice. I found the endgame lacking if you don’t have a buddy to play with, but otherwise it’s a blast. The laughs and good times never end in this one for me. One of my favorites, for sure. Best 40k game, in my opinion.

As you all know, the game will be shutting down in June 2025. Ubisoft has decided to sunset XDefiant due to declining player numbers and spending. Season 3 will be the final full season, with a skeleton crew maintaining the game until its closure. RIP.

Welcome new players. I'm coming up on 1,700 hours and 1 million heretics killed. -For your first few rounds, I recommend Ogryn. You're the hardest to kill and strongest starting character in melee, so its easiest to learn how to fight in melee and game mechanics. -Teamwork is OP. There's an indicator on your HUD that shows whether you're in coherency with your teammates. If it says "1", you need to get near someone. Alone you are nearly guaranteed to die. If someone goes down, the entire team needs to converge on them and get them up. Lack of teamwork causes team wipes. This is a teamwork game. -To succeed you must do the objective. No amount of killing heretics will get you through the mission. The team has to go to the diamond and do the objective. If you aren't doing the objective or protecting the person who is, you aren't helping. -For Tier 1-3 missions, Toughness curios are best (Toughness is your "shields"). For Tier 4+, by that point you'll know what you need. -For all classes I recommend that you have at least one weapon/ability that is good for clearing trash mobs and at least one weapon/ability that can kill distant enemies. -You cannot avoid melee combat altogether (not until you're very good at positioning and high level with Vet and Psyker), so you'd best learn how to scrap and defend yourself in melee. -Learn how to dodge, block, slide, push, and move your feet to avoid being surrounded in a horde. Block is 360 degrees, and there's a sound that plays right before you get stabbed in the back. New players usually do okay against elite enemies and even bosses, the main thing I notice new players getting killed by is trash mobs because they aren't used to fighting so many enemies. -Ogryn can be built very tanky, good in melee, and with decent firepower due to big guns. -Veteran plays like most FPS characters, should feel very familiar. Very strong ranged options and abilities. Not inherently great in melee, but does have access to a few great melee weapons. Veteran only shines in melee once you're good at melee as a player. -Zealot starts of kinda unimpressive but as you get up around level 30 you become a very strong melee berserker with great melee weapons and abilities. Some great ranged weapons, but Zealot is the inverse of Veteran; only really shines at range once the player is good. -Psyker is the "offensive caster" of the group. Psyker starts out miserable, as you're a caster with only one "spell" and it isn't great. The start of Psyker is suffering. Once you get Psyker to high level and get good at it, you become a force of nature, able to annihilate whole hordes yourself. The force swords and force staffs are psyker's strongest weapons, able to kill dozens at a time with no need for ammo. I'll see you in the dropship, FOR HIM ON TERRA!

Very much worth it, especially if you're a 4 player co op, L4D addict like me. I'm almost 900 hours in, playing since launch. The improvements and additions since have been huge.

The universes exist in distinct dimensions, but they are linked by the warp: the plane the gods reside in. The Khorne of fantasy is the same god in 40k. This has been confirmed by White Dwarf, GWs magazine, a few times. Theres even occasionally crossovers. In End Times: Thanquol, the skaven accidentally video call an eldar craftword in 40k using technology stolen from lizardmen.

This is how I recommend playing darktide but it really depends on if anyone wants to master Darktide to the peak. Psyker is by far the hardest to play but is still doable. Zealot is the easiest class to play due to it fitting perfectly with Darktide melee centric mechanics. Veteran is also on the same level as Zealot but players tend to develop bad habits while playing this class. People initially play Veteran as a range class and crutch extremely hard on the range aspect. It also has a Grenade that 2-3 shot bosses at the mid difficulty. See where the bad habits are coming from? The grenades don’t allow players to learn boss mechanics and by the time it’s their turn to clutch they will fumble. Same with guns, it’s quite hard to deal with the hordes in the later difficulties with just a range weapon. Zealot will allow players to grasp the core melee mechanic. Moving on to Veteran will only reinforce it and will also give you even more time to practice precision kills on elite/special units. By the time you play psyker, you’d grasp enough darktide fundamentals to easily breeze through the class. Ogryns throw most of these fundamentals out of the door so play him whenever. He plays by his own rules for 70% of the time.

Do not get me misunderstood when I say Darktide is leagues better than Left 4 Dead. Left 4 Dead is a TITAN of a game and I am thankful for its presence. But Darktide offers so much more in challenge, gameplay, atmosphere etc. it is a true successor for sure and you can't for get to mention Vermintide 2.
