If these people cared about me and the pain I am in they would not have Scheduled me an appointment twenty days away. They did not offer to call me if they had a cancelation or offer any other suggestions as to what I might do.I have never been treated so thoughtlessly in my life. I will try to find another doctor because I do not feel welcome there, which is a shame because I thought Dr Kluball was great.

I had a major back issue. I went to Piedmont Orthopedic for six months. I saw several doctors there. All said they couldn't see anything wrong with me. They were good doctors. There came a time they had to let me go. I was upset and told them not to just let me go, to send me to a nerve specialist. They sent me to see Dr. Mina at the hospital. I got in the next week. Within ten seconds of looking at my MRI, she said we need to do an emergency operation right now. What I didn't know and all the other doctors, including Dr. Mina was how God was using me. God put my surgery off so he could have my message, God's message, to reach another man and lead him to knowing Jesus. He gave his life to Jesus because of me needing surgery. You don't know how God is working in your life. In his timing, He will see you get the help you need. He tells us there is times we will go through pain, but He will never let us go through more than we can handle. He is always with us.

I have to use Lab Corps now since west end internists at St. Mary’s no longer exists. And I had a great nurse (Amy) who faithfully did a great job with checking on my blood work I usually needed approx. every month. And also she gave me a chart with instructions on how much to add or subtract Coumadin and the date of the next visit. Lab Corp sends my blood to some Lab in North Carolina. Takes a long time to receive results going back and forth like that. Also, they charged me $36. Also, they use a needle like butterfly thing to get blood. Amy did a finger prick. No jabbing around to find my veins! Thanks for letting me comment. Shirley Westbury, patient: doctor: Dr. Ali of Monument office.

BON SECOURS HOSPITAL in South Carolina tried to kill my 91 year old dad; he has COPD and had an infection; they said he had COVID, (he didn't) and tried to put him in a COVID isolation room; I declined the room and took my dad home. Asked them for an antibiotic prescription before I left and they said check with his primary care physician Dr. Brothers) who is also a part of Bon Secours and they refused any help; said take him back to the emergency room. I had some antibiotics left over from a abscess tooth and managed to get antibiotics elsewhere too; we are taking care of him at home; water fast, antibiotics, and rest; he is doing better. This whole concept of "Nurses are scientists", really concerns me. I am an ex-nurse, and one thing, besides nurse bullying, which is the real cause of the nursing shortage, that was consistent, was the assertive irresponsibility of nurses. I suffered huge consequences for naively assuming my RN manager and NP "team mate" intended to follow regulation. I've gone to nursing classes where the instructor started out with "This is what you say on the test because that is regulation, and this is what you do in real life...". And we spent the entire course practicing how not to follow regulation and consequently every nurse in the class went out into their various communities and facilities intent on not following regulation and so would be putting their patients at risk. My nursing career was constantly bringing me into contact with nurses who were abusive, aggressively irresponsible, unethical and uneducated. The idea that nurses might be trusted to be accountable, accurate and ethical in an actual scientific study or legal case should be met with extreme caution. Locally, nursing school applicants are only required to have grade 11 Chemistry and grade 12 Biology, and only a 70% in each. They can then be accepted into the RN program, and proceed to the NP program, after which they can insist on being called "Doctor" - still with only a grade 11 Chemistry and grade 12 Biology "Science" education. Meanwhile nursing PR is advertising "Nurses are scientists!". Beware. @Ashlee Allen Nursing P.R. says "Nurses are angels and heroes", while nurses are dancing through a pandemic and "eating their young". People should know the truth before they go into debt for a nursing program or before they trust the nursing community with legal and scientific matters which require genuine education, accountability and integrity.

These nuns were responsible for the deaths of hundreds (possibly thousands) of babies in Irish "mother and baby homes", and for the illegal adoptions of hundreds of children, along with the disgustingly callous treatment of mothers. They allowed babies in their care to die of starvation and all manner of preventable and curable illness, while they themselves lived in relative luxury. Their crimes invite comparisons with the kind of cruelty committed by the worst of the Nazis. Watch this documentary about the events at the Tuam home in Ireland and see if you still think they're "wonderful". kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIHRhHqthM13o68
