Typically I agree with you but not this time. I think the discussion of birth control is discussed often In the beginning but in the heat of the moment things happen. As well I am a survivor of SA and more often than you may think it's rough and forced unfortunately. But how is being ghosted a way to say someone assaulted you? Maybe your feelings but???

Unfortunately I used to think the same way. However after learning more about and meeting people who fall on both ends of the spectrum. Being they experienced abuse during developmental stages and vice versa I have come to the conclusion that there is a nature and the nurture factors. Both i feel probably play a role. But we all have a right to an opinion. Maybe 🤔 if you acknowledged these are your opinions it would be less offensive. Just food for thought!

Note how you said "i think thats what usually happens". You "think". Your thoughts dont allign with reality. Im sorry that happened to you but you have no way of deciding that abuse leads to being gay. If that were true there would be a vastly larger gay population across the entire world. You're also not accounting for straight victims. I'm gay and i was never abused. Being gay is not inherently tied to pain.

This kind of thinking is actively harmful. I am so sorry for whatever happened to this lady and all other abuse survivors. But it is not at all necessary that abuse leads to homosexuality. Gay love is not connected to abuse. Our feelings are valid too and not necessarily a result of trauma. It can just be. Just exist without needing an explanation. I have never been abused in any way yet I don't find myself sexually attracted to people. I don't know why this video was recommended to me. I don't watch such content but now that it has been, I feel I must clarify that such thinking is harmful. Our love doesn't need such horrifying justifications.
