Nice video! What camera did you use for underwater filming ?

Did you get any properly good weather in July with deep-blue sky and white clouds reflecting in water, or was it always milky sky? I need to urgently decide whether to go to Maldives now or in Feb w kids. Thanks!

Quick question - I see that some villas are accessed from the beach (but are still considered over water) and then there are others arranged in a circle around a boardwalk which are more out in the ocean (and obviously over water) - what's the difference, apart from the access point? Are the room descriptions different? Thank you.

By the way, this hotel shares the facilities with the other 2 Hilton properties adjacent to this hotel. So you can use their pools and other facilities, which was good. They also have a shuttle service to and from various parts of Dubai, such as Dubai Mall, Marina, and the Palm.

Hope you enjoyed our review. One thing we forgot to mention in this video is that the beach villa is located much closer to all the facilities. You also get slightly better privacy than the overwater villas. Also, snorkeling from your own villa is quite limited as there aren't enough corals. If snorkeling from just outside your villa is important, make sure to request one! Our butler told us there are a group of few villas on the sunrise side that have huge corals. We wish we had visited Fari Marina Village earlier to try their food truck. :( Still, it's a short free boat ride from the Ritz-Carlton Maldives and definitely worth checking out.

Snorkelling in the Maldives was a ton of fun, especially when you can get so close to sharks. What's your favorite snorkelling spot?

Your speedboat transfer gave us flashbacks to our trip because we also took the speedboat in those choppy waters (with a crazy rain) 😂Not the best experience but the villas and experience made it worthwhile!

We loved how there was nobody out on the beach, both while we were canoeing and swimming. It did feel like we were on a private Maldives island. :)

So it turns out, things dry pretty quickly even after a couple hours of vicious rain and wind! We still couldn't do any water activities but had a blast having the beach to ourselves. :)

The Sunset Beach Villa was so nice. A lot of privacy and the direct access to the beach were unbelievable. It actually looks much nicer in person!

This was a super long trip to the Maldives, but it was well worth it. We can't wait to show you the resort we're staying at in our next video!
