Thank God you recognize middle blockers! I play middle usually because my height (6'4) my skills are decent but my technical formation is incomplete and I don't play advanced so often to improve like I would like because time (adult life) and because no so much setters are patient 😅. At my 44yo rediscover love for volleyball and play vs athletic 20s-30s yo kids at their advanced level is amazing but tiring. Not just you need to move back and forward but be aware about the setter and players moving around to (in my case) try to predict and be there to block way before the ball (I'm fast for my 40s but not like a 20s 😅). And attack like a middle is not easy, surpass the block of people waiting for you if they predict your setter and try to change the angle, at least the outside hitters come from "outside" and is less probable have 2 or 3 blockers waiting for it comfortable because they need to run fast to the corner. I hope some setters learn to give some love to their middles, I saw some team that does it and are overall better 🏐💖
