I'm having difficulty understanding a word that Rinpoche is using. It seems like it is the key word of this teaching. The automatic translation translates it as scream, spring and stream. Anyone knows which word he is using at the following four moments in the video? 0:32 First factor is thinking that agregates are 'scream'. 1:32 We live in believing that when things are put together and when that makes sense that is 'spring'. 2:07 Second is Tata, which is when you think that liberation is 'spring'. 2:40 And than the wrong view is the 'stream'

I know what you are talking about but could you make it more clearer, Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Norbu Rinpoche. I would like to listen to more of your academic lectures. This one is very subtle, sophisticated and important. I never thought about this issue.

All those aggregates, the surrounding composites, that binds a practitioner is because we are, as the 5 Aggregates also forms the part of the whole that permeates across through causes and conditions. We are comfortable in a formation, cohesive lot. Even our own brain will produce a slot to fix a gap what we have forgotten to make up a logical reasoning. Our brain lies to us so that the subject makes sense. We are only comfortable when things make sense. So when I say, I am a sky goer or dancer and I fly, everybody gets spook!..... nomoregiggling

I would feel tasteless when all the 5 Aggregates are "dismantled"! If you understood what you are saying about "purifying something else instead of that person purifying the original sin", and see Emptiness then you would have at the least made it to the First Bodhisattva Ground.... but I thought it was the 2nd Bodhisattva Ground, the "Path of Seeing"(equivalent to the 4th Arhat Fruit), then you can "see" what you are purifying... the emptiness of all inherent existence.... I caught you, you are a bodhisattva! Clap my hands! Clap my hands! Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Norbu Rinpoche! See? I would make you a perfect student! But you must put balm on my burning head if it hurts! I still have aggression... and passion and a pair of incisors! I bite!

ignorance can be improved

I think many Westerners have help and benefit others out of genuine good heart and not for reward, how ever the 3rd compassion and the dedication of the benefits is important . Many Tibetans whose kids were sponsored should be able to testify this " relative Truth " tell all these sponsored Tibetan kids they have been the victims of ignorant Westerners ' ordinary " dualist " compassion ! a person sharing feels the suffering of the one she shares with : there is unity not duality in her feelings and action.
