Hi love congratulations on your journey. So the frizz is part of the process but to minimize it you must continue to wrap the hair around the loc to train it in the direction you want it to go. Like locksmithing or just wrapping the locs.

That hair works better if you spray it before using it! Mist it.

I’ve been using this hair for years without wetting it. So as long as you know what you’re doing, either way it works great.

These are permanent, human hair extensions. They are meant to last forever or until you are ready to cut them out

That’s normal. You just continue wrapping your hair around the twist. You have to train your hair to go in the direction you want so it’s can loc where you want it

But when she want to take them out, and keep her natural locs, would she have to cut her hair since the human hair at the roots ?

She will not be taking them out because these are permanent extensions. If she decides not have extensions anymore then she can cut the ends and work her way up to her natural locs. Taking her time and paying close attention to details in her hair will show where to cut

This is how I started my micro locs except I plat almost to end then twist because I was scared they would unravel. In fact some did start unraveling I am still waiting for it to thicken up my hair is similar to hers

So is 16 inches of hair 16 inches full length or 16 inches when folded in half eaqualing to an actual 8inches of length?! And how much does this hair shrink after getting wet?!

Stretched the hair is 16 inches and the twists come down to about the middle of your back depending on your height. It’s doesn’t shrink much at all when wet

Once installed, how do you keep the real hair from sticking out? Only certain pieces stick out because of the hair being short.
