If it's all always contrast and the rewards never arrive, I should stop trying to do anything and let go of ay hope for any dreams or desires. If it's not here, it isn't supposed to be here. I will stop hoping now. This entire journey has been a lie---run this way, do that work, try again...etc. I will have to stop trying. If this is what God has decided I'm worth, I cannot hope to convince anyone of anything different. I believed I was worth more but obviously, I'm worthless. Trying to fill a void that can not be filled. Oh my. This is the best explanation I have heard regarding addiction. I am currently reading a book on addiction. It's a very good book, and im learning a lot. Your explanation sumed up addiction very well. I understand why I was struggling with whether to stay or leave my spouse due to his addiction. Listening to this is just as good as the book im reading. You are breaking it down sooooo well. His addictions are affecting me in some ways. I think these are areas in my life that I need to work on. However, he's not working on his vibrational gap and this is where it gets a bit challenging.
