Wait what? How often do they do that? How do they determine the winner?
@Themersive12 сағат бұрын
They play four different shows per night, and it's a different winner each time.

Is there an executive lounge? Or is breakfast just in the restaurant?
@Themersive3 ай бұрын
There wasn't any executive lounge to the best of our knowledge. You get "continental breakfast," and we do mean very strictly continental only. It is a very, very easy walk to the park, and the views can be super amazing. The hotel was a great experience overall, but the selling point for us was definitely that view.

@Themersive3 ай бұрын
Yes We do agree. It really is Mario World. Wonder if they will ever get another attraction, like Donkry Kong, Luigis's Mansion, Legend of Zelda or something else. Would be nice to see that addition, although a copy and paste of what Epic is already doing would be sort of lackluster.

After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), they also have their own unique headbands which japan's headbands are better, while hollywood's shirts and hats are better. And rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures. While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies). When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them. When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.

The differences between theme parks, especially when it comes to different countries, can definitely be interesting.
@kinopiko015 ай бұрын
@@Themersive yeah. If you're more into like checking out unique merchandises and food, then Japan's Nintendo World is for you. If you're more into having a fun time and want to interact with people more, America's Nintendo World is for you.
@kinopiko015 ай бұрын
@@Themersiveand a lot of people don't seem to realise how lucky they are to have a Nintendo World where there's a lot less rules. Sure, it's pretty disorganised, but it has a more lenient environment with staff members that don't mask their emotions when they are on the job. If a mascot really likes you, they geniuely show it.
@Themersive5 ай бұрын
We would definitely like to check out Universal in Japan. Thank you for the info. We weren't aware of that, and it is good to know for planning purposes.
@kinopiko015 ай бұрын
@@Themersive no problem. oh and be careful of long, massive lines when you enter Universal. What I do is since my hotel is in the city center, I wake up at 5am then leave at 6am to Universal. Sure, you'll have to wait for about 2 hours to enter the park, but it's way better than being so far back in the line.

Is this one bigger than the one in LA?
@Themersive6 ай бұрын
Well, there are two parks as of now, so yes. I believe the Studios park by itself is bigger in Florida as well, but Hollywood has a very cool and unique layout, so to me it kind of feels bigger in a way. They are both excellent in their own way. That is a good question, but a tough one to answer. I say both are well worth visiting.
