Very cool! Really brings it to life! I hope that one day the castle can look something like this!

I agree. It's going to be interesting to see it when it's fully done, I'm curious if they're going to fully furnish all of it or leave it mostly empty for tourists.

A time lapse usually means the process of building it being sped up. This isn't that interesting, but seeing a sped up version of it being made could be cool!

Nice. But there should be no window in the front gate. They are building a medieval reproduction not a renaissance castle.
@yetirenders3 ай бұрын
I agree. Although maybe they just wanted a place for visitors to look out or something. I don't think that part has actually been built yet so maybe the plans will change in time.

Good luck! I'd recommend looking into how to model modular buildings and make use of the free camera in new vegas to see where all the walls/assets go. Also beware of the doc eating some of the stuff laying around @@codenevis_

no drawbridge, it is a "sleeping bridge", it does not rise, in the event of a siege it must be dismantled.

not bad at all and very good render, but no hoarding on the front (there should be!), and too large (especially on the gatehouse) windows at some points that are a design flaw. Props for the oblique arrow loops on the sides, i do recall that the actual castle forgot them.
@yetirenders5 ай бұрын
Thanks, I was trying to be as close to the original as possible but of course now I look at the render I see a lot of stuff I would redo. When the real castle's done I might remake everything and hopefully be more accurate and realistic!

@@yetirenders well you're already doing awesome work as of now! Will you do the interior when possible? I'm very interested in a fully rendered guédelon. Castle is estimated to take 10 to 15 year to complete from now so a render is perfect for now XD
