@@dwdrum11 it was on the cards with the various options we discussed however rear full range fill was important for this customer and after the last XJS we did with the same subwoofer solution we were really happy with just how well it works in this application. Hi! with the correct interfaces and installed correctly all the speakers will work afterwards as well as the factory amplifier. Any radio is suitable as its not the stereo that is compatible, its the right parts that make the installation seamless. The amplifier is however quite old now so most of the time we are bypassing them now and installing a new amplifier to run the factory subwoofer and/or speakers etc. Are you located far away from ourselves?

there is a bit of a compromise as it’s about 50% blocked so you do still feel the hot air on your hands when on the wheel, and also this screen is movable from left to right meaning you could utilise a bit more of the void from the left of the screen to the passenger air vent. However because Mercedes didn’t design the factory screen to be symmetrically placed to the silver centre console surround we made the decision for the screen to be centralised to the silver console opposed to equidistant between the air vents as the customer was more phased by having screen central to having the air vents 100% on show. Not sure why Mercedes designed it this way but there must be a reason!

Hey! In the AMG I presume you had to use a USB to Aux Adaptor for sound to work? If so these are pretty terrible. We don’t get a sound issue on the kits we install as the phone sends the music direct via Bluetooth streaming to the factory Bluetooth car kit so no different to how you would stream music prior to having the kit installed.

It is indeed. This is slightly different to the common one from in car tec in south west England. There are pros and cons to both facias, it will come down to preference.

Typically in the Mk2 TT platform this costs in the region of £1100 all inclusive.

Hi yes it will. If you look under our Mini playlists on our channel you will see a 2017 countryman we’ve already completed with the same solution. If you have the same factory basic system it’s a complex upgrade so I’m not surprised you’re struggling to find a solution as not many companies will offer it.

@@adamplumtree64 anything is possible and so yes this conversion could be done, although would require original immobiliser to by bypassed and this Clifford alarm fitted to give you the the needed security afterwards.

It’s android auto but doesn’t actually run android software. It runs Kenwood’s own native software.

@ytplxsma_.9480 not direct to the unit. Only on those unbranded android units can you do that. On this one you would simply just plug an Amazon firestick into the back of it and utilise all of its features.

@ DAB does work yes! We are located in Reading, Berkshire

This button can be set up on the Deadlock and Deadlock Pro versions of the tracker to disable the immobiliser part if you didn’t want the system to automatically disarm on proximity to the vehicle.

Good Morning! Once you push the ride height button on your centre console the LCD screen shown will show the current ride height, you can then change the ride height using the arrow keys and then the ride will show as changing in the instrument cluster display as normal 👍🏼 thanks for commenting 🙏🏽

Have you got a professional local to you that can do the installation? You don’t usually get releasing keys for factory stereos when you buy aftermarket stereos unless you asked for them.

@@saschakuss hi! We supply and install an interface into the pcm screen and this allows CarPlay. It is a wireless connection to the phone.

Our channel isn’t a how to type channel, it’s for business purposes to show consumers the solutions we offer if we are to supply and fit the whole package. Camera is from Nav Tv in the UK, a Cam6 to be exact. How we get the cable in I can’t answer as one of our talented installers does it and they are extremely elusive from the camera, I would say though, with difficulty! And not sure what you mean by utilising existing cable loop?

@@johnkleiscaraudio can I ask another question please? Just installed the 8021 and the cmos 2030 camera. All works great however how do you have the rear camera show when not going into reverse. I press the camera button but it doesn’t show until putting car into reverse. If that makes sense.

@@hoddy4552 it would seem you’ve not powered the camera off ignition but instead powered it off the reverse feed… we do wire them so they can work at any point rather than just reverse.

Hi. It’s a full installation kit from Kenwood direct for this platform. The installation kit costs about £250. (Excluding a few other parts you need for certain spec alhambras)
