I've watched the live in Pompeii show. The band and performance wasn't nearly as good as the Hollywood Bowl show. The wife and I went to this show. It was awesome!

Wow!! thank you for putting this up this video. My wife and I were there the first night, the second night and the last night at The Forum. What an awesome spectacle of guitar and musical genious. I purchased the Live at Pompeii video and liked it very much, but for me the Holloywood Bowl concert(s) should have been released as well. Those shows were just amazing. Using the facade of the bowl was a stroke of genious, then the firewoks at the end, whew!!! Eight years ago this month and we still talk about these shows. Thanks again.

I went to this show, and it was amazing. I saw Pink Floyd a few times on the 1994 tour and I didn’t think anything could ever come close to that. This concert and they way they used the Hollywood bowl really gives pulse a run for it’s money. The new Mr Screen is so clear and crisp. It was like watching a HD tv. The lasers were brighter, more intense, and a lot more of them. They should have filmed and released this show. I paid a fortune for tickets to this concert and it was worth every penny. I’ve never seen footage of any other Gilmour show that was like this.

I was there! The fog rolling in in the 2nd half of the show was magical. The light show was amplified because of it. It was an incredible show!

PULSE (division bell tour 1994) stage was based on the hollywood bowl which Pink Floyd had played at many years before.

It's acrime that this concert didn't get released officially on DVD/Blu-ray! The Pompeii concert was great and I was there in person, but this just looks so much more mindblowing!!

I was at this one, and yeah it was unreal! The grass is always greener I suppose because I can't imagine seeing him in pompeii, what a special experience that must have been. But the Hollywood Bowl is the best venue I've ever been to. I flew from Florida to California for this concert. He used he whole bowl as a projector screen, it reminded my of their Pulse tour. Plus if you've ever seen the hollywood bowl, it sits right under the hollywood mountains, so the view behind the stage is just mountains. I still think about this concert all the time, a real dream come true. I can't tell you how lucky I feel having gotten to see Mr. Gilmour live. I've seen Roger 3 times but this was on another level of special.

I went to both Hollywood Bowl shows, I've been there many times and I have NEVER seen an artist use the entire Bowl as a projector screen like Gilmour did. It was an outstanding experience! I'd love to see it released on blu-ray...

you are absolutely correct. This should have been filmed professionally. hands down. the visuals were amazing, the venue iconic... even just a few songs as extras on the Pompeii DVD.. nope they gave us some shity stage in South America... I was disappointed

Thank you for posting this video. I took my 13 year old son to this concert. One of the greatest experiences I've shared with him thus far. He came to the Bowl a fan of Pink Floyd. He left a disciple of David Gilmour. Shine On...

I went to both hollywood bowl concerts, both phenomenal, thanks for sharing your videos. I have run like hell from up close so no fireworks but I will try to upload them. Please upload more if you have more, you had great seats right there in the middle.

I was sitting in very similar seats on the first night. The right section second row near the center aisle. Wonderful show. I wasn't expecting Crosby to sing on Comfortably numb.
