@@busted2010LT sometimes they can be "saved" by telling the computer to reset fuel trims. The PCM goes and looks at what the throttle body is doing now ,goes into learn mode , and adjusts accordingly for the screwed up reads it's getting. It only works sometimes.

@@metalsurgeon9196 I let it idle for 10-20 minutes after doing it all, then went on a pretty long drive, I wonder if that helped it relearn maybe

@@busted2010LT that way is the normal"passive" way. Cars do that all the time, it takes up to a month to learn all the fine points again. Telling the computer do it sets it in learn mode and will reset in a ten minute drive, mostly.
