Thank you so much! Actually you are correct! The low slung skirts are such a great Ann D piece from the runway! I remember a few male celebs and influencers even wore it because it was such an iconic look.

I semi agree on you with this one! I would actually trade the bogunz to the ballast. It’s more alien like and futuristic. However I never had that opportunity to find a pair in my size and price. Maybe one day I will find one!

Nice collection, Karl! I`m such a shoe-lover.....but i have different types of shoes: classic feminine, avant-garde lie you, rough boots, sport-styled, snickers....so on. Do you use something common from time to time? I ask because though I`m into avant-garde and gothic style, I move so quickly I just have to use something "stable" in my everyday life...

Great question! Well my no fail shoes should be the classic rick owens biker wedge. It ticks all the boxes. It’s stable, gives me height, great silhouette, easy to wear. I wear it all year round and I have like 5’of them so if I get bored I just switch xxx 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@ you explained each piece nicely and it doesn’t hurt that you fit those items well I think that is what gets in the way of people even trying to get to understand the philosophy behind these thing’s I worked for companies that carried those labels for year’s it’s a very distinct client base But for the people that can fit and access those pieces it’s most definitely a beautiful investment they are timeless

Such a great video, so enjoyable. You are spot on with the ones that you included. It did remind me I had a pair under the bed I had forgotten about 😂 I am still not buying any high heels except platforms but at least I can appreciate them on others! I became obsessed with all Rick Owens donut styles. Recently started collecting Rick Owens older pieces and they are just true affordable pieces compared to the high prices of newer collections. Can you name 3 of your highly desirable items from the FW24? I noticed the new season SS25 seems to have lots of references from previous collections. Thank you for sharing your knowledge about this genius designer of our generation. I can see why some museums around the world tend to buy his runway pieces. I just can’t have enough of the giant donuts from FW24 museum worth it for sure. What I love about Rick owens is the fact that most of the items he is designing are things rarely seen on the streets, unique high fashion pieces at much lower prices than other brands out there. I hope the MET gala will be honoring him at some point.

A lot of times designer clothes can be a bit too fussy and twee, these are all wearable and mixable.
