Sorry to hear about your dad. :( I'm a ski jumping fan from Finland (the most successful ski jumping country) and I just find out about this terrible crash. At first I though that this jump ended his life but no, your dad fought against the injuries and survived! Your dad was a very strong man! I though ski jumping in USA is nonexistent, but now I did some research and I see you have many young promising ski jumpers. I really hope they do well in the future! And hopefully ski jumping in NA gets even more popular! Everything good for you and your family. I really appreciate your work for ski jumping. :) Sorry for my poor English.

The rms @4 ohms per channel is 300 watts.. And the rms @4ohms for the sub is 350 watts. I did my reasearch and wanted to out another in soon and build a custom box. And I can't crank on it too hard and I never do anyways cause I don't wanna blow it. Should be fine

1800 watts is going to be waaaaaay to much for just one sub man. the rms on these subs is only 400 watts. return the amp and buy a 600-800 watt amp to run just one. if you run the 1800 for just one of these and you dont have it set right you will blow the sub. you never get an amp that will run the subs max voltage especially if the rms of the amp is the same of the subs max.

i have this same set up kinda. i have one thin-13bx on the bamf 1800watt amp and the poweracoustik 3 farad cap. reason i got the 1800 is because the rms rating is only 50 watts less on the amp compared to the sub. I love power acoustik tho. in a single cab 1998 nissan frontier.

doesn't take much to push these subs. I have both of mine running of of 1 600 watt amp which realistically is maybe pusing 400 watts and they sound decent. just don't be stupid and treat the gain like a volume nob like a lot of people do.

@mikenotmikey Engine had 228,000 miles on it when I rebuilt it. all but 1 of the stock speakers were blown and the stock radio would barley even play the radio.

@mikenotmikey What do you mean ruin? by rebuilding the engine and putting a new stereo in it? I didnt put a whole huge ass system in it. just a new cd player and new speakers. plus I got rid of this car a long time ago.

@ScrewFearMe yeh ive always played with high sensitivity. thats one of the reasons people call me a hacker in game cause i can flip around at any moment. ive got the Thermaltake eSports mouse which is 4000dpi. ive got it set at 2000 and i took some of the weights out to make it a little bit lighter. but what i have recorded is nothing really. when im in the zone i flip around everywhere. ive actually made people dizzy lol

@Brooklynmario because the second slot is x4 it does bottleneck a little bit. because of the bottleneck i actually only gain around 30 fps in black ops but it does run very smooth. i didnt see any difference in mw2 cause i was already getting the max 91 fps with a single card. in homefront i usually see around 50-75 fps but thats because homefront doesnt utilize crossfire all that well. im looking at getting a ASUS Crosshair IV Formula but with bulldozer coming out soon i might just wait
