You are correct. Both chapters fought in the bqdab war, uncertain if they fought together though? The exorcists are careful to avoid revealing their warp taint for obvious reasons, so they tend to avoid other chapters and their accompanying psychers. Check out the latest Exorcist book “Oaths of damnation” Once again, as much as I love the space sharks, I suspect the exorcists would walk right through them. They’re basically loyalist marines with chaos hacks. Something tells me that this will not end well for the exorcists as is strongly hinted at in the aforementioned mentioned book.

no one knows how many templars there are outside of the High Marshal. However.. with all the worlds they cover, the keeps they take, build, or leave.. I doubt such an organization that has been going for over 10k years has only 4 digits in count. Ultramar has over 500 worlds and an overall strength (so I remember hearing somewhere) of a full legion either with in that chapter or with all succeeding gene related chapters. I think the Black Templars could rival this. Just because only 3 crusades at a time are engaged doesn't change the fact the chapter is on crusade and using the loop hole in the Codex Astardies for them to be over 1k in members.
