Dutch is a simplified German. Before 1945, Dutch looked more like German than today as it employed "der, des, den", just like German does. But after World War II, Dutch has sounded and looked more like English. Many Dutch people now speak Dutch with an American English 'r' when the 'r' is at the end of words and before consonants. Take 'de storm is over' vs 'the storm is over'. Now, they are heard 99% the same!

Also, i like kurdish. If you can with just how busy your teams are, i would like to request easy burmese? Maybe even some other asian languages like nepali/hmoob, etc. It would be great to learn burmese for my situation personally. Thank you as always! Quick edit: Could you make a short series of "easy burmese"? I primarily use easy languages as my online resource because I can't get books or travel.

Hey easy language teams! I would like to learn farsi from native speakers somehow. But, there are too many restrictions and with the war going on. I accept that it cannot happen. Thank you for the work you all do sharing this content and your memberships!

Very nicely paced, and well done. Your patience and your affection for your language are both apparent. I appreciate the clarity untangling the sounds that are relatively hard for and are surprising to those of us that didn't know a word of Welsh before viewing your video. For example: Ll- sound. Wicked:)

Farsi is a dialect of Dari. You are all raised to believe that Dari is a dialect of Farsi. This is incorrect. Fars is far south east Iran… the Persians 2000 years ago spoke a completely different language. Dari spread from the region of Balkh to Tajikistan, parts of Uzbekistan and Iran

Stupid format to mix two languages. And very triggering for many people in times of war. This video was after 2014 when the Russian war in Ukraine already started.
