Foreigners say there are many regional dialects in the UK but when I spent 3 years in Germany I found the language differences were just as diverse. My guess is most European countries are the same.

I see a lot of leftist A-holes in the comment. Who cares what you have to say. If you have a problem with Greeks and Greece then get out of Greece! NO one invited you anyway.

Such a contrast to the latest reports. Have only just discoverd this channel. Such a lovely place and people yet see what the EVIL WEST has done. More of this enlightenment. Western media has perpetuated dreadful lies for too long. Reporting like this can and must bring about change. The US and UK governments are an abomination and must be totally reorganised. Happy smiling people, not angry miserable people full of fear and hate: the ultimate results of greed. Don't give up AJ+.

I think that neighboring countries that speak the same language often have an urge to distance themselves from each other. A similar situation exists between Germany and Austria, and between the UK and Ireland. But in the end, the differences between individuals are usually greater than the differences between whole populations. On a trip to East Africa, I realized that if you spend enough time with individual people, you realize that people over there share as many ideas, wishes, and hopes with you as people from your hometown. When I met people from Syria, I met so many great people who shared so many interests with me, which was so different from the negative stereotypes we can see in the "social" media. Every country has great people and boring people, spontaneous people and stiff people, people you get along with and people you avoid. Sometimes we make small differences bigger than they really are. As humans, we should all stick together and see ourselves as one big global culture, with all its exciting nuances, so that we can learn from each other. We should always talk to each other instead of talking about each other. Then we will realize that we are all part of one human race.

Well, it would be, at least for now, 39 steps. A masterpiece. Kings' speech is amazing, just as there are others that are great, but I do think 39 steps is probably the best, and one of the best ever made. I have really enjoyed watching this episode

What i think is culturally not linguistically what most westerners understand stereotype about asians or more specifically chinese comese from hong kong . I belive this could be from the qing dynasty . For example the mancurian hair clothes and 辫子, i think westerners got this impression sometime in the qing dynasty .
