I remembered seeing this scene in the 70s but only as a bit. I couldn't recall who did it. As soon as this clip started, I remembered. What a delight.

You turned off comments on the James Cordon last words to America. ( which I respect and understand) I just want to say thank you for recording and posting it. I have friend who immigrated to America from England. Her sister has decided not to follow. ‘You have such a lovely country but you are seeming to destroy it’. For those of us who truly love America, I hope we can preserve it. Thanks again!

That was the last scene filmed in that apartment, except for one 7th season flashback.

Feminism/women's lib, living a life without "burdens" of the family unit, having a career (as portrayed by Mary)...is what supposed to make them fulfilled and happy.... feminism have fed them a bunch of lies as they now live alone in a nursing home without children, grandchildren to visit and care about them....they will die alone....no one to attend their wakes and funerals as their contemporaries are all dead.....

I was going to write the same thing. It's all about our own attitudes toward our own lives, that makes the most difference to us.

One of my favorite episodes. The "class average" remark was hilarious.
