They're a Belgian rock band (I think with influences of mathcore and stuff), who are also quite popular in the US and have been touring there recently if I recall correctly. Also: the female drummer is also the vocalist. They're very awesome :) Check out some of their videos of "Live in Vooruit" show from 2019, great stuff.

Also, I thought you meant the lyrics are cringy because, well you know, they're terrificly cringy :) not because they verbally praise Lenin's party (which I dont think they do). Even that was what the lyrics are about, that's a perfectly normal thing to make a synth wave song about in Soviet Russia that is more and more leaning to the West and to freedom in 1988. Clearly IF he sang (which he didnt) "yo communism is the bomb", it is meant sarcastically. Either way, I love the forgone glory of anything Soviet, it's a failed and utterly flawed project, which is what I got from Bioconstructor, and why I made a matching music video. I wouldn't go that far :) But, it's footage of a popular and trendy dance from the late eighties from Germany (although I have to be honest, I can't remember whether it was East or West Germany, though I can look it up given time). The outfits were trendy/fashionable outfits as well. :)
