Unfortunately I didn’t think to shoot the boxes that obstructed the vent to find the second fuel area even though I saw it. From there I would not have expected the symbols to have any relevance since I had previously checked out that area and did not notice you could change the symbols.

I know this is video is old as hell. Just came here because I got stuck. However, I am playing this on OG hardware. running it on an old dell running windows 98. I noticed that the graphics look wayyy better here than they do on my system. Was there some sort of graphical improvement with the steam/gog version of the game or something? I also notice that your health and ammo boxes on the HUD are different. They are squares. Mine are circular.

The supply crate you opened at 11:29 didn't have any night vision goggles for me, just a bacta canister.

I like how this game predicted certain technological advances. Note how the access cards are contactless. That was a really futuristic concept when the game was made.

Yeah no shot I would’ve found that pipe. I noticed the area below the room but did not focus on it. I explored outside and didn’t see anything so I backtracked around and there was nothing. If they made the pipe more obvious this segment would’ve been easier.

Dude I don’t know if you still look at comments on these videos but how the heck did you get the music to work in the game. The steam version for whatever reason disables the soundtrack.

Don't forget Kyle is a Jedi! Force Speed allows you to snipe the snipers before they can hit you or straight up run around them and enemy grenades can be Force Pushed.

Considering how long it took me to defeat dark Mara if my game had not glitched and refused to spawn Kyle at the end I probably would've fought him at least 20 times before looking that up. I did notice the painting but this is very unintuitive.

I really enjoy pistol starting this map. I have this headcanon that Doomguy had a sleepwalking episode during the previous night's nightmare and managed to break or misplace his entire equipment, but if he was injured before in Courtyard, he still rested enough to heal up. (It also makes the gameplay match the sense of escalation that comes from the rising dawn, but that's an ancillary benefit at most.) But yeah. I really enjoy this one, all in all. Even made a brand new water splash, and terrain type to fit said splash, for the swampy water midway through, to make the bog feel extra boggy.

I don’t remember my first time with the cut scene, but my first memories was always running around the castle because I liked the music and I loved exploring all the different rooms. (this is when I was a little kid and I didn’t know how to play anything.)

This floor should never have been made.

This is the only segment I actually find enjoyable during my playthrough. Mainly because I can use force speed and slash my way through enemies compared to the beginning, where i had to put up with the awful shooting mechanics.

2nd episode is so difficult

13:10 So weird, I’m playing right now but my elevator is bugged. When I push the crate onto the pressure plate it pushes the elevator up, and when I push it off the elevator comes down. There’s no way for me to activate it for some reason, what an annoying bug.

That last secret jump is impossible

I just finished the map killing all of them with Chaingun on Death Incarnate. You said it would be impossible to finish them with Chaingun.
