Omg Emmy, please pick up Butcher and Blackbird. It’s the ruinous love trilogy (3rd book out in either Jan or Feb) and they’re all DARK ROM COMs. Like there are genuinely such dark moments, laugh out loud moments, and also the spice??? 🥵

Have you ever tried grimdark fantasy? Try reading The Poppy War or anything by my queen Miss RF Kuang. Her books are soooo peak

also Check And Mate is my fav Ali Hazelwood book because it doesn’t have any of that cringey smut, just cute rivals to lovers with pining and angst.

Hi Emmy I absolutely adore your videos and was wondering how you edit your videos and what software you use?

You should read the naturals series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes!! It's a YA mystery thriller about an FBI profiler teenager; if you liked the reading people and serial killer aspect of the MindF series, I think you'd enjoy it!!

for when you delve into other genres (which we would love to see), i recommend the hotel nantucket by elin hilderbrand! (larry rated it 5 stars btw) it’s like domestic fiction with some romance in there but it’s sooo good and such an easy read to fly thru! it was giving me white lotus vibes. also for thriller the classics like the housemaid (duh, not great writing but it’s a fun time), the silent patient, and no exit by taylor adams

I love the mindfck series!! is one of my favorite series (I don't have a lot of them, so that says something). I definitely recommend reading Morally Corrupt by Veronica Lancet!! it's a dark romance about a hit woman who's a sociopath and gets obsessed with a guy. not a favorite, but I found it great

Just wanna say I really appreciate the vibes in your videos! Been seeing a bit more negativity lately where people are overly critical/shaming certain genres or whatever but you're just here having a fun time with your reads and I love that, thank you <3

Does the Mindfck series get better after book 1? Everyone's been recommending it but I read the first one and it felt like your average Wattpad fanfic or a weird epilogue to a series - it was like I was missing a big chunk of the story?? Sure, parts of it were satisfying to read but I don't think the author did a good job introducing the characters or their background so I just didn't care

Omg the mindfck series has my whole heart. Not quite sure what that says about me 🙃 Crazy what happened to the author (although, maybe that’s gossip?). There is nothing that I have found so far that even remotely compares.
