I got this same blow dryer as part of my birthday gift from my fiance. Mine is an Ulta exclusive because it came with a round blow out brush as a bonus gift. I was in the market for a new hair dryer for a while now but didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one. I paid $43 for mine from Ulta. What sold me on this dryer was the price, color, says it can dry hair faster with less frizz and it came with a diffuser. My previous blow dryer was pink and black Revlon the box said cancer edition or something like that. I got it on sale at Walmart almost 10 years ago for under $20. The hair dryer doesn’t get as hot as it used to and you can hear that the motor is getting slower. It didn’t come with a diffuser only a concentrator but I didn’t understand what that was for in the past so one day when I was cleaning I threw it away. I haven’t used my new hair dryer yet but I can’t wait to try it out.

Dislike. Chomps are not "carnivore diet approved". And what does that even mean?? Lol Approved by who?? Chomps have several plant-based ingredients...celery powder, cherry powder, pepper, coriander and garlic powder...which you willfully neglected to mention. smh
@grhealthbeautyАй бұрын
Thanks for your comment! The carnivore diet has a few different approaches, and I understand there’s some debate about what’s 'approved.' The strictest version, known as the Lion Diet, excludes all plant-based ingredients, including spices like celery powder, cherry powder, and even seasonings like pepper and garlic. This version focuses only on ruminant meats, salt, and water. On the other hand, many who follow a broader carnivore diet do allow for some seasonings and minimal plant-based additives in their foods, depending on personal preference and tolerance. I should have clarified in the video that Chomps contain small amounts of plant-based ingredients, and I appreciate you pointing that out! I’ll definitely be more detailed about this in future reviews.

I wouldn’t recommend it for your hair. It leaves a residue itself, so wouldn’t expect it to remove another residue. I love Treseme from the drug store or Accure from Whole Foods. Good luck!

Citric acid is what concerns me being sensitive to everything... usually derived from mold. A lot if people use this without diluting and complain about dry skin. I haven't tried it yet but I'll make sure to dilute it!
@grhealthbeautyАй бұрын
I don’t dilute the baby unscented and it works great for my kids as shower gel. I agree the other scents are probably better diluted. 👍🏻

I spent all that money purchasing a blanket from HigherDose and received it in July 2024. I didn't think that my controller should be getting hot when I use it (level 3) so I reported my issue through their website July 31 and here it is August 6. I have yet to find out the status on making this right. I almost purchased the face mask and mat. Glad I didn't. I'll be returning the blanket and look for another company that cares about their customers.😪
@grhealthbeautyАй бұрын
Sorry to hear you had a poor experience. 😢I’d say the controller definitely shouldn’t be getting that hot (mine doesn’t heat up at all) and I’d recommend exchanging it for a replacement unit - if you were getting a prompt response.

I have an older version of this same blow dryer. I've had it for like 10+ years. No problems. Seriously. Mine has like a button to turn off the ions if I want to. The new one prob don't have that.

Hello. How are you? I am on the hunt for non toxic products. I have a few questions if I may ask you. Does that work well on dishes? Do you put those into a disposable foam dispenser and dilute ? I am interested in Dr Bronner, but I love having products in the original container to show the brand and ingredients for guests, so I am unsure what I would like to do . 🙁 Would love to hear from you please 🙏🏼 Thanks so much!

In my experience you either have to be very sparing or dilute by like 50% with distilled water because at least with the peppermint one I got very irritated skin when using it like a normal shower gel

I found an incredible deal just before Black Friday on a LifePro sauna blanket. It was extra large with a $100 off coupon. Total price was $104.70. I am in chemotherapy and afer my infusion yesterday, I sweat toxins out for an hour last night and again this mornig. I found research that said Infra-red sauna accelerates production of white blood cells. Chemotherapy destroys them, so I hope in addition to detox, I can make white blood cells faster. 😊

I have bought one however not really sure how to clean it. What do you suggest?
@grhealthbeauty Жыл бұрын
Hi, @kimberlycallis1351. Thanks so much for your question! I have used Thieves spray (diluted essential oils) or water with a little bit of Dr. Bronner's Castille soap. I just spray the areas where I notice there was sweat and wipe down with paper towels. Whatever you use, I would make sure it's natural, non-toxic and fragrance free so that you can protect the material and make sure you are not laying in chemicals the next time you use the sauna. If you are unfamiliar with Dr. Bronner's and interested in learning more, you can check out my review video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5-ngZ6PltSIfdE. Thanks so much for watching and being part of the GR Health and Beauty community! I greatly appreciate it. All the best!

Can this be used as shower gel and shampoo meaning I don’t need to use anything els ?
@grhealthbeauty Жыл бұрын
Hi! Dr. Bronner's is fantastic as a shower gel, but I don't recommend it for shampoo "as is" bc it's quite heavy on hair. There are recipes to turn it into a shampoo. Otherwise, I recommend the brand Accure for shampoo and conditioner. Thanks for tuning into the channel! xo

how it is to the touch is it absolutely smooth or it still gives a bit of grainy feeling?

It's a pretty close shave, just not quite as smooth as a razor blade. I was impressed tho!
@randomshybean8706 Жыл бұрын
I haven't used it yet, but based on the instruction manual, I'd assume the difference between the underarms and the other areas has to do with how taught or tight the skin is. I could absolutely be wrong though.

Hi, just found your channel. I am a Mad Hippie convert. I have sensitive/oily skin and have tried nearly all brands on the market. Last year, when I decided to make the switch to 100% vegan skincare, I did my research and tried Mad Hippie. My skin took to the line immediately. No need for the adjustment period it usually takes for skin to react to a new regime. While I am sure the Amazon cleanser is great, I highly recommend the Cream Cleanser by Mad Hippie. It's lovely. I do a double cleanse with the cleansing oil at night after using the brand's sunscreen during the day. Initially, I was leary about using oil, but my skin loves all the products I use in the line.
@grhealthbeauty2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Jilly! Thanks so much for writing! I've had a similar experience with Mad Hippie, as you can tell from the video! No adjustment period at all. The products were immediately beneficial, which is hard to find - especially if you have sensitive, acne-prone skin (like me). I appreciate the insight on the Cream Cleanser and Cleanser Oil! I will give them a try for sure. Thanks again - keep in touch! xo
