#Muslim means who wholeheartedly submits their will to Allah, the Almighty God. Jesus (peace be upon him) says in John 6:38, I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of the One who sent me. #John 5:30, By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. Muslims believe that the first prophet was also the first human being Adam, created by God. Many of the revelations delivered by the 48 prophets in Judaism and many prophets of Christianity are mentioned as such in the Quran with the Arabic versions of their names; for example, the Jewish Elisha is called Alyasa', Job is Ayyub, Jesus is 'Isa, etc. The Torah given to Moses (Musa) is called Tawrat, the Psalms given to David (Dawud) is the Zabur, the Gospel given to Jesus is Injil. We as Muslims, believe that Jesus (peace be upon him), is one of the greatest messenger of Allah(God). - We believe in his virgin birth -He is the Christ and Chosen -He is the Messiah. - We believe in his miracles, that were done by God's permission, with more miracles than that was mentioned in the bible. - There is vivid details about his birth, miracles, his stories with the disciplines in different chapters of the Qur'an . - The only chapter that was named after a woman's name, was the chapter of Mary (may Allah be pleased by her). - Muslims are not considered true Muslims, unless they believe in Jesus and Mary. The last prophet in Islam is Muhammad ibn ʿAbdullāh, whom Muslims believe to be the "Seal of the Prophets" (Khatam an-Nabiyyin), to whom the Quran was revealed in a series of revelations (and written down by his companions). Muslims believe the Quran is the divine word of God, thus immutable and protected from distortion and corruption, destined to remain in its true form until the Last Day. In Islam, every prophet preached the same core beliefs: the Oneness of God, worshipping of that one God, avoidance of idolatry and sin, and the belief in the Day of Resurrection or the Day of Judgement and life after death. Prophets and messengers are believed to have been sent by God to different communities during different times in history. 25 prophets are mentioned in the Qur'an, although some believe there have been 124000. Some prophets were given holy books to pass on to humankind. According to one Hadith, the Prophet (PBUH) mentions 124,000 (or its roundabouts) prophets before him: It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, how many Prophets were there? He said: “One hundred and twenty four thousand.” I said: O Messenger of Allah, how many of them were Messengers? He said: “Three hundred and thirteen, a good number.” I said: O Messenger of Allah, who was the first of them? He said: “Adam."

(QS. Ghafir 40: Ayat 18)
