Looks amazing. I just received 4 spools. 1 is already taken apart and ready to make into my kitchen table. How or did you remove the nails and all out of the top. I have looked at the one i have and it almost looks impossible without cutting them out? Thanks for your inspiration and information!

Hey Candice, I did not remove the nails, like you said they are impossible to remove, what I did is I drove the ones that were sticking out in and I sanded the top many of the nails also got sanded smooth with the top ! Good luck with you project I hope it comes out awsome!

@@julianjazxhi9870 Oh, okay. Thank you soooooo much for the insight and for responding so quickly. My husband told me they were NOT coming out. Lol. I thought about beating any ones sticking up in, but didn't realize the sanding would help with it too. Thank you again!!

Curious on paint type. Usually aluminum requires self etching primer first

Nice job. I just started a skil worm drive I may just polish but it depends how the aluminum responds. Thankyou

Thank you!! Did you apply it with a cloth? Mine came out way darker than expected.

No I didn’t put it for sale Because It doesn’t have the whole jaw, just have it in the shop using it here and there !

I would have never picked that color out myself, but it looks good. I always thought pastels were a no no in a shop but that vise really looks good!
