Yea, easy to botch your character because there is nothing in the game that explains what each stat accomplishes! You are totally right, That spot in the video at the osseus fortress is awesome for leveling, 750 nycrux for each of them witches. THIS IS A FANTASTIC VIDEO DUDE, THANKS 👍

Good review although i would have also addressed how utterly tanky all enemies are. It becomes so boring shooting them for so long that i started skipping past enemies after a few hours. The upgrades also felt like they barely helped so combat stayed boring throughout with exception of the very fun boss fights

This game is so underrated. I 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 it so much, partially because of the difficulty. This boss is soooo hard. Thanks for the help!

I would advise against grinding. The way the xp scale in this game make it so you are better off moving along the intended path. If enemies and boss are too hard you have probably deviated from it. Guns and spell can be ignored completely if you want since you don't have enough resources to use them frequently. Mind and Instinct are only worth it if you want to make a run focusing on novelty weapons you would not use in a str or dex playthrough. While vitality is worthwhile to upgrade, your health is mostly dependent on the bonus you get for defeating major bosses.

This video was great man! Wasn't using the same setup as you, I'm using the big donk sword. Had a no hitter going deep into the 2nd phase until I got clipped by a slash and used only one heal. Thanks for this video man, very helpful!

Instead of going to that 2nd room you should just restart at the shrine 2x as fast and add jumping off the cliff before you get back for the hunger chest jump of the cliff and get the best of both 👍

I keep getting rocked by bosses and regular enemies bc I barely do any dmg & 4 hits on me and im dead??? Wth

The game kinda has an intended path so if you get to a point where regular enemies are dealing heavy damage while you barely damage them, then you are better of going somewhere else. Also prioritize upgrading weapon before your stats. Whip then Blood katana for dexterity builds, great ethereal blade for strength can carry you for the whole game.

so what elemental weakness grease should I use for him? are bombs any good? I have not seen a boss yet to benefit anyway from bombs. And are bosses immune to status effect? never got one to freeze or anything. Seems like greases just give very small damage boost against bosses and thats it. very dissapointing.

some bosses arnt immune to stat effects but most are unfortunatly, still tho slight damage boost feels nice sometimes

lol and I thought the input-reading parry lady right before him was bad. Jesus I think specing into instinct was a mistake. I have a +5 blunderbus/sword thing and shotgun but I really don't like the range on the sword. Is there anything better for instinct users? Also kinda sucks there's no way to replenish ammo while in combat. No boss in this game is going to go down with the 20 bullets stock I have.

Amazing underrated game, your doing some pretty good damage with the nightfall blade, didn't know it could do that, I play as a brawler with some extra dexterity, Ethereal Greatsword and The Scyth are my preferred. I've beat Manfred several times but I was looking for some elemental weakness to make it smoother since this fight can go bad really quick if you lose concentration, especially when he doubles himself. Great vid, really excellent strategy, I'll definitely use it.

Thank you SO much... doing the jump and double whip changed everything for me, the ghost was also a hassle but the fact I was jumping constantly allowed me to quickly air dash past him when needed. Saw you vid, went back to it, didn't die.

Just a side note u can burn him. I no ice does nice damage but most people by this time can just use fire to burn him I tried bleed but I no burn will leave a status effect on him

Is it more difficult then hollow knight? Because i dont think any game can come close to p5.Like sekiro and all other similar fromsoft games were hard(did not play ds2 and demon souls but i complete every other game) but HK is in the league of its own.

@@maiksonstrife base game probably,other then few bosses its not hk is not that hard,but with optional content its absolutely harder, pantheon 5 is 42 boss gauntlet,where you can only fully heal every 10 to 5 bosses.Then path of pain is basically what name says pain.

I might give up on this game because of this boss. All I can do is get him to half health. Knowing he has a ghost form I could never beat him. I guess I'll grind and re-allocate my stats for the time being.

It took me about 5 hours of losing to this guy before I finally decided to grind about 20 levels. After I came back, I beat him on the 4th try. It helps to take a breather for a day or two....try to find some hidden items you missed, maybe do a couple side quests, and come back with a fresh mind after you've allowed some of the frustration to subside. You'll get there.

@@GeeshiGaming Thanks. I re-allocated my stats towards a blood build using the Rift of Blood. I beat the Starlight Beast of Illygarth and The Burned Apostle. The transformation changed my mood for sure. I went around the map exploring old areas for hidden paths. I got new weapons and magic. Its paying off for sure. Still not ready for Manfredd but I'm getting there.

@@redfoxxx9997 The Burnt Apostle is in The Liturgical Pass. You need The Propulsion Boots for your air dashes. The Pass is located in the Site Cave.

It tells you roughly how much time you have in each junction from the mission board. Also the autoparker is good if you are on controller but useless if you are on pc (pc its so easy to park on pc)

Wow I never noticed it gives an approximate time lol. It seemed kind of random other than when the conditions say "swift storm". Auto Parker is cool, but you don't really need it. I prefer to keep a gas tank and a battery in the back seats.

Dude I know exactly how you feel. For the record, this is probably the hardest boss in the game....plus the reward for completing this fight (double jump) makes it totally worth it once you finally get there.

Maybe they have fixed the issues at this point, but I played this game when it firs came out and there were a lot of issues with map markers not showing up and clearing, doors not opening and closing when they should of, areas that I didn't yet have the abilities to leave being accessible when they shouldn't have been, map markers not appearing and clearing when they should have, and more. I'd be willing to give it a second chance and see if the issues were taken care of, but the state that thus game was in when I played it was a total mess.
