I first heard of Sir Ken in 2014. His TEDtalk about Changing the Education Paradigm was recommended to me by the U.S. Dept of Education. I show the animated short to my own students every quarter, to understand the different kind of critical thinking that underpins my decolonized English composition instruction. Stumbling across this KZbin channel and this video in particular, is like a sign that deciding to get a PhD in Education Policy is absolutely the correct decision. I will need to watch this video more than once. Thank you for leaving this channel up. This wisdom is still sorely needed.

I've been on a Kenneth Robinson binge these past many months. Ever since I saw his famous TED talk, I've inhaled dozens of his brilliant talks. I feel I found a kindred spirit, just a few years too late. Grateful.

I am always inspired every time I hear this wonderful man speak. He keeps me fresh in my role as a teacher.

I have been a great fan of Sir Ken Robinson for many years and totally agree with his thoughts and can relate to his views based upon my education and career journey in education. It was a very sad day when Sir Ken moved on to the other dimension and I prey that our education systems change in line with his vision.

His talk to teachers in 1980 riveted me. I went on to develop group string teching thereon. Great fun . Good results but not in terms of assessment of individuals but in his organic peer group learning philosopy 😅 based on Suzuki / Paul Rollands pedagogy of movements and language patterns A famiy based movement took up our spare time with great stimulus.

Thank you for sharing this wonderfull video. Great vision, great talent, you'll donate us an udelabile mark for ous knowledge and spirit.

I'm not an educator but love to learn and it was at a university that I was introduced to Ken Robinson and watched one of his TED Talks. At home during COVID-19, I came across a mention of his passing and was saddened by it. He was such a gift to millions of people. His passing is a loss, but his work and legacy will carry on.

I see and read many accolades for him. The next natural question for those showing appreciation for his message is “ what am I now becoming? What can I do, and I am doing, to make a difference in others lives for now and in the future for others?”

Teachers and education in general is so important. I’m sure we all remember special teachers who made a difference to our thinking and lives.

You will be missed by many

4 years old is definitely not ready. The happiest children in the world are in Finland where they start school at 7 years old.

As Sir Ken said, “The fact is, that given the challenges we face, education doesn’t need to be reformed - it needs to be transformed.” This is a wonderfully creative invitation for each of us to consider how we can be instrumental in bringing about A FUTURE FOR US ALL.

Thank you! This is incredible work and hope we can all band together to re-imagine normal through bravery, innovation and creativity. It is so deeply needed. I have admired Ken Robinson's work for many years and I hope I can continue spreading his words far and wide along with creating a collective community of people to help create this change in the world.

We do need to “reset” and stop trying to get all the kiddos to learn the same thing especially in special ed where I see each individuals immense creative capacity every day. Tell me how I can help. Thank you for sharing, Sir Ken is the most important and most influential human being on this earth, at least for me personally. I dedicated my life to early childhood education after hearing one of his talks. I will be forever in his debt. Such a wonderful man.
