Chet Atkins had perfect rhythm, pitch and technique like a virtuoso classical musician. To this very day there are few guitar players who come close to his level, in my humble opinion.

I believe Melba was barely 18 years old at the time of this recording. Beautiful and wonderful lady, she did great duets with George Jones as well. She is still with us at the time of this comment at 85 years young.

Listening in 2024!!! Damn she was an amazing song writer. I’m so thankful to have seen her in concert a few times. Although I was young and didn’t fully appreciate the lyrics. Her beauty captured me then. ❤
