Nokia Arena is home of Tampereen Ilves as well as Tappara. Ilves is the OG Tampere team, founded 1931

They took 95 seats out when they renovated SBC in Halifax cause that barn used to be able to rock just about 10.6k (10,595 to be exact).. I've been to Saint John TD Station and it's nice there.. prices are reasonable, and the ushers are friendly as well. Some of the fans (the few I met the 2 games I was there for when Halifax played them 2x b2b nights) make me feel welcomed and gave me a bit of a hard time but truly appreciated the cheers. Thankfully, st John made the playoffs due to their 6 3 or 7 4 victory that Friday night (I wanna say mar 20 2024 (please correct me if I'm wrong on the date, thanks)). Quebec went to ot and lost then lost the next day to Rouyn-Noranda. Avenir Ctr also is very welcoming.. but concession stands prices are through the roof (4 PC chicken strips and fries, with a 600mL (ok 591mL) bottle of Pepsi is $23.99) and that was from the long eeekend in February last year

Buddy you need to recheck your information about the capacity of some arenas. CAA in Brampton ont has 3500 for hockey.

Do you like CAA more than Paramount? I didn't at first but it's growing on me quite a bit. The arena is basic, Paramount is much nicer but CAA is more intimate so it doesn't feel as empty with our small crowds. Only things I dislike are the parking lot and lack of beer variety. I miss the Steelheads Lager we had at Paramount

Yes i Do like CAA over paramount. Because you are more closer into the ice as apose to paramount where it felt more out. I hear you on the loger. Happy hour before the game lol ;). But i find the parking is roughly the same. One thing tho Brampton CAA center is way closer to restaurants like Mandarin and Stores like Costco.and entertainment like playdium Which is super convenient especially for visitors. When paramount was abit out for the things. But again both are nice butt Caa is home 🐟.
