After a few roofing videos from youtube finally I see correct side seem welding. Also miss hot mopping, I've done my share dancing on big flat roofs with fifteen pound mop. Kept me in good shape, did not miss the gym after work.

Again, why people think they know exactly what they doing is good or correct? While this one may be a bit better than The Flat Roof Doctor work on youtube, still this OG also lack understanding of what he is doing and how he should do it. When you see incorrect tool mixed with cotton glove wearing roofer, be aware, very-very aware. On a zero to ten scale I'd give this OG a 5.5 grade, a 0.5 improvement over Roof Doctor. Besides, he also does not show critical phases of what he is doing, not to mention explaining of what he is doing.

Hi, question. How is a flat roof like this vented? With mushroom vents ? Sometimes these old buildings have vents on the side walls below the parapet wall. Do you guys still us mushroom vents if the flat rood has vents on the side wall?.Thanks

Yes we install usually one way vents. Mushroom vents are to be installed on shingle roofs. Yes we usually add one two for every roof we do even if they have one of those vents on the side of the walls. Some the roof building in Chicago don’t even have no type of insulation at all which will cause the roof to age so quick so install vents

I put this stuff on the top of a mobile home. I bought in the roof was rusty and brown and it made it look brand new. I’m gonna throw another coat on it. I never knew you could use it on rubber like this so that takes away where I covered a patch with it.

That's torch down it's asphalt mixed with rubber. You can silver coat over that. Dpdm is rubber , you cannot silver coat over that or put anything that has petroleum in it on rubber it will eat it away.

i will do this for less than 100k, even with better product, u should cut the roof with tools, u can rented at some supplier here. its much more faster to remove the old roof. nice crew
