Not many records of this, I haven't seen them filmed very often either. Cool fish for an aquarium though, if your lucky the wild caught cucumber will have an extra prize inside! Lol. (This has actually happened before!) Pretty easy fish to keep as well.

It's not symbiotic as the sea cucumber does not benefit. It's more parasitic as the pearlfish eats the sea cucumber's gonads & possibly more. At least the sea cucumber can regenerate its organs.
